We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

Another year where there's not too much I really feel the need to get out early for. I may swing by the store later in the day and check out what's left but nothing mindblowing needed for me. Thankfully

I'll be on the hunt for some of the below. Missing a few because I became lazy in the midst of the copy paste, and I apologize that some had no other images available, so I had to use the RSD page with the watermark. Definitely looking to pick up that "Like a Drunk In A Midnight Choir". Pat Sansone worked on the Everybody Knows cover with Joseph Arthur, who is from Akron. Will also be on the look our for The Meters, Popol Vuh, War on Drugs. Maybe that Prince picture disc for ole' times sake. Procol Harum, and maybe Pink Floyd. Basically, it will be a smash and grab, as always. I'll see what I get out of it.

2nd straight year nothing tickles my fancy (thank goodness)
I want something off of the UK list, but I'm not holding on to hope with that one (Idris Muhammad)
A friend and I are strolling through after the initial rush. Supposed to rain here. My shop is only a few blocks from me, and they have DJs/bands, free coffee and donuts, and free Upland beer (Upland makes a special one at this time of year called Vinyl Tap, I believe. Can't say for sure as I don't drink anymore)
One of the DJs is decent though, so I plan on doing some digging while he is spinning. I get more accomplished w decent grooves.

I can always find some kind of vinyl to spend my $$ on. Planting season is upon us. Time to pull the portable out to the greenhouse. RSD always comes around at the right time.

I went out to my store in the afternoon just to see what was left. Got the Big L single/EP and Pineapple Express soundtrack. They didn't have a few of the other things I may have picked up (Lennon/Claypool, Space Jam, Townes Van Zandt, Grateful Dead).
May look online tomorrow/monday for the Grateful Dead and Space Jam (part of my childhood). Not too devastated if I can't find 'em though.
I'm sure if I tried one of the other few stores around I may have found it but I went to the main one I've gone to the last few years and it's like the main one around where I live so I'm not surprised. I just couldn't see enough to make it worth getting up super early and hanging on a line for a few hours like I've done in the past.
May try a few other places tomorrow but we'll see. Again....not devastated if I can't find it. Just would be cool to grab that and the Dead / Townes Van Zandt stuff.
as an aside, Coral Fang is one of the prettiest records I've ever seen. I usually don't make a big deal bout colored vinyl but it is the more magnificent translucent red I've ever seen

Thanks. I was trying to find when sales online started. I usually check Bullmoose's site which won't be putting up RSD items until tomorrow. Same for my local store. Will check this out. Looks like shipping is only $5 no matter where. Cool!
