Just curious about getting some secondary market tickets and strategies. Should I wait until closer to the date? Should I just get them? Any suggestions on where too look?

I assume by where this thread is you just mean shows in general, not Bonnaroo specifically.
The answer is it depends. If a show is a quick sell out, the secondary market prices right after the show sells out tend to be high. If it's a show that is shipping a lot of hard copy tickets or wristbands, prices tend to be lowest right when they ship. More people will post tickets when they have them in hand.
If there are a lot of secondary market tickets available, you might get rock bottom prices 2-3 days before the show, but that's a little risky because more people will be looking to buy then.
I'd say about 2-3 weeks before a show if you see a price you're comfortable with just go for it.
Also, if you're on StubHub, people will often price their tickets at face + StubHub fees. So tickets cost $50 (after Ticketmaster fees) and a month out you see 30 listings all right around $65, people are all hoping to get all their money back and will eventually start racing each other down.

Yeah just shows like Green Day (for the woman) and Roger Waters, and possibly Tom Petty for me.
