Why on earth are neither Ty Segall or P.O.S on Spotify
Ty's on NPR First Listen, that's what i've been doing, works pretty well. It's really good, I'm super bummed he's not going to be at Roo, or Houston, most likely driving to Austin to see him.

Ty is playing Nashville end of May if your in the area. New bonnaroo won't book acts like Ty Segall anymore.
you must have missed The Sadies up there. But I suppose I'm not so much excited about their album as I am that they'll be touring again!
never heard of them.
one of Canada's few great unknown exports of excellent music. They're worth a listen. Favorite Colours is a good place to start. They backed Gord Donnie from The Hip on an album a few years ago too, which, if you like Gord Downie, is worth a listen as well. But their live show is their bread and butter. Doesn't quite translate through their albums.
HM: Michael Chapman - 50 Japandroids - Near To The Wild Heart Of Life Allison Crutchfield - Tourist In This Town Ty Segall - Ty Segall Julie Byrne - Not Even Happiness Migos - Culture
Obviously I really like the album but I'm surprised The xx are the frontrunners so far this month. Really thought it was going to be Priests or Ty Segall.
There's a bunch of albums I still need to devote more time too--Japandroids, Cloud Nothings, Brian Eno, Matthew Dear, etc. There was so much that came out all at once almost nothing got through; similar to why Mr. Burns is unaffected by every disease on Earth.
