Think this would be an okay spot for this thread. Looking for some advice about Stubhub, I've never used the service before, thinking about trying to get Lockn tickets from Stubhub t osave a little cash, few questions:
1. Are there fees for buying tickets? 2. Should i wait till closer to the event to buy tickets, or buy sooner? 3. Everyone have a good experience with Stubhub?
Any other advice you guys could give me about using Stubhub would be greatly appreciated.
Yikes, cheapest Lockn ticket is 10 more than tickets off Lockn's website with the fees. Do ticket prices tend to fall once the event gets closer.
They usually do. If you use the app, you can set a price alert for what price range you're looking for and you will get a push notification if the listing appears.
Stubhub fees are shitty, buts it's a trustworthy site. Bought many times off of stubhub, haven't got screwed once.
Yeah stubhub charges fees to both the seller and the buyer. I contemplated selling my Mountain Jam ticket on there last year and died a little inside. Luckily, I got it sold on cashortrade. There's no fees there, but there isn't the same guarantee as Stubhub. There is a piece of mind to know that the purchase is guaranteed.
This actually reminds me that I only have 4 more months to use my 200 credit on Stubhub (they really are a-holes in so many ways).
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Stub hub is best used for day of show last minute tickets. That's the only time you find 'good' prices. Otherwise it's almost always overpriced. It also seems to have better prices for sporting events than concerts.
