Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney are thought to have been booked for what reports are calling "one of the biggest concerts in history".
Billboard is among multiple sources to report that Goldenvoice Entertainment, the promoters behind Coachella Festival, will hold the festival in Indio, California between October 7-9. It will take place on the same site as Coachella.
As well as the aforementioned artists, The Who, Neil Young and Pink Floyd's Roger Waters have also signed up for the three-day event, according to the reports. The headline acts are expected to be paid $7 million each for their sets.
"It's so special in so many ways," Young's longtime manager Elliot Roberts reportedly told The LA Times. "You won't get a chance to see a bill like this, perhaps ever again. It's a show I look forward to more than any show in a long time."
No more details of the event have been revealed but a full announcement is expected shortly.

Live Aid 1985 was bigger.
Seriously though they had Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, The Who, Mick Jagger, David Gilmour to match this one plus Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, U2, Elvis Costello, Queen, Elton John, The Beach Boys, Black Sabbath, Madonna, Eric Clapton, Brian Ferry, Sting, CSNY, The Pretenders, Santana, BB King among others. Friggen unbelievable!

I'm probably alone here, but I'd rather see two and a half hour sets from McCartney, Waters, The Stones, The Who, and Neil than 2-3 songs from everyone you listed there.
