what you have to look out for is the security horses. for every bonnaroo attendee there will be 3 (three) horses. do not interact with the horses. do not walk a path with a horse on one side and a ditch on the other. particularly when it gets dark watch out for horses. if you hear comingled human/horse screaming do not run towards the screams, it's already too late and you cannot assist. run away from the direction of the comingled human/horse screaming.
When entering the festival itself - treat it like you would assume the TN po are going to search you out. You may be totally fine, as searches seem HEAVILY subjective (IMO, the change in security advisers at the gates -- saw upward of 4 fully gloved staffed non-police officers running it - chooses more "dangerous" people) And by dangerous it often seems to my recent experience to be related to multiple facets of who you are with, if you look a "certain way", and sadly racial appearance. But all people with the brains know you should pack as if you are going to be ransacked.

Anyone have a link to the thread where the guy was certain there were Juggalo-esque people following him? The med tent team was in on it too. Turned out he was just high. I'd love to read that one again.

Please be aware of the security guy named Sauron. He pretty much has his eye on everything once you step foot on the farm. He's been known to steal "heddies" for his sketchy crew.

Last year wasn't that bad for my group but i did see them throwing away a BUNCH more stuff then usual. I suspect with safety being a top priority this year, searches may be more intensive.

Uc's will have artist pass wrist band , ask to have ur picture taken with them . They normally travel in 3's. They are wonderful I made one of them put on my refraction glasses , I think my lack of fear was surprising , I looked at them and said we all have jobs here O:-)
