I'm holding firm in my prediction that Gaga will headline either Coachella or Bonnaroo this year. Considering her new album is produced by Mark Ronson and Kevin Parker from Tame I have a feeling she's gonna go into a different direction musically.

I'm still waiting for Beck. NiN would be nice but aren't they playing only new material now?
When they played Lolla in 2013, it was about a month before Hesitation Marks came out: they played maybe 2 songs from that album. The rest of the set was a nice balance of their catalog. LN which from NIN is what Roo needs in 2017 to shake it up a bit.

I think Gaga makes too much sense for next year... They've been playing with pop for a while, this year is their chance to scoop a fucking all star for a discount. And she'll put on a show that will shut up any hater... Let's do it
Fleetwood Mac - Lady Gaga - Arcade Fire
I'm also thinking they could finally headline MMJ, we've had enough stretch headliners they might as well do it

I would love that top line. Also I love MMJ but unless they put out a big album I don't see them cracking the top 4. What do you guys think the possibility of dropping Kings of Leon to 4th? I also don't know how plausible Fleetwood Mac would be. It would honestly put Roo at one of the best lineups of the year for me. Fleetwood Mac/ Lady Gaga/ Arcade Fire/ Kings of Leon/ Future/ Kygo/ Fleet Foxes/ Chance the Rapper/ Ryan Adams That seems like too stacked of a top 10 compared to the last year but if they want to boost the ticket sales that would most definitely do it. Edit: I think if you take out KoL it would be much more realistic and would still move heavy tickets.
Fleetwood iant a realistic possibility this year because of the plan to take a break until doing one more tour in 2018 that they have made very clear. I'm not going to put in the work because it has been repeated over and over, but there is an article that states this that has been posted in this thread multiple times before. Also, KOL is not going to be a #4

I thought I'd enjoy a Fleetwood set at Roo. Recently I watched part of a live performance from them on AXS while visiting someone. Man, those Lindsey Buckingham on lead vocal songs are boring live. I suppose it would be about as enjoyable for me personally as Billy Joel, but yeah it isn't happening.

I didn't think so either. Honestly I always make too unrealistic of mocks. I get my hopes way too high. I think the mocks jugs post like Drake/ KoL/ Phish are not going to happen but it's absolutely closer to what is really going to happen than anything I post. Do you guys think if Coachella really got Beyoncé it would rule Jay-Z out of LN fests? Please God give me. Jay-Z/ Arcade Fire/ Bob Seger/ LDR/ Beck/ Kygo/ Chance. Sub Jay with a big pop star or Radiohead, and sub Phish for Seger and I still think it's realistic
I can't do a realistic mock without hating what I write. This suck. Maybe I'm sandbagging my expectations too much. Just hard not to having see the quality drop from 14 to 15 to 16.
Unless she takes a break from shows/ fests next year I definitely see LDR in top 4. I feel for some reason we will be treated with one of Radiohead or Gorrilaz or Arcade Fire. The Who/ Kings of Leon/ Gorillaz/ Lana Del Rey Edit: this is one of the more sad lineups I'd hope for a great undercard.

I really don't think Bey at Coachella would rule out Jay-Z at roo. However, does Jay even have reason to do shows? Like, he doesn't have a new album coming or anything, does he? I'd love getting Jay - Arcade Fire - Neil Young but idk that Neil could get a #3 spot. Jay - Neil - Beck - LDR feels realistic (if Jay is indeed doing shows.) But, about LDR, I feel like she has just been touring constantly for the past two years, so I would imagine that she'd be taking a break sometime soon. Though I feel we almost certainly get 1 of either LDR and Lorde.

for some reason I thought Jay was working on an album. Might be wrong though.

He is, but we don't know much about it. The rumor is it's supposed to be a response to Lemonade, but I don't know.

If you'd seen that show, you'd be perfectly happy with a repeat. I just camped at Which after enjoying The Mars Volta, was about 3 people from the rail for the NIN set.
That was an intense show, and those strobes were bright. Dillenger Escape Plan coming out was pretty sweet too.
