I just realized that you can add a column to iTunes for "Release Date" which I'm very strongly tempted to go crazy on. The only thing holding me back is not knowing how it's gonna sort things.
Edit: That and there seems to be no way to actually input that data?
But I'm also a sucker for anything that sounds like a straight up soundtrack. It's inspired by violence against women. I assume the overall message is that he is against it. It would be a very strange twist if he was actually celebrating it.

This month is really down to Nick Cave and Danny Brown for me. Bon Iver is a dark horse candidate once the full quality drops tonight.
Angel Olsen, Against Me, Beach Slang, Wilco and Regina Spektor were all varying levels of good/great. Travis Scott was weak compared to Rodeo. Die Antwoord has like 3 good songs and a bunch of filler per usual. Still haven't checked out Local Natives or De La Soul but its hard to imagine them touching the top 3. Been trying to find a DL of Nicolas Jaar. That might be amazing. Also excited to listen to GriZ as a guilty pleasure.
I also expected the Jack White to be more b-sides and less just an acoustic greatest hits with a few b-sides thrown in. Was pretty disappointed in the lack of much new material, but I guess that goes to show I didn't research the product before I hit play.

Only album I've listened to in the last month is Travi$ Scott's...Never felt the need to stop but also didn't have anyone else on My Apple Music library besides that, Blond, and Coloring Book. (All the times I got Apple Music for a month).

I'm super excited to give this a proper listen. I started last night but unfortunately was pulled away from it a few minutes in. I had liked what I had heard so far though.
Is there a way to listen to it track by track? I've started it a few times and would like to hear the end! Dave Maynar
I listened to more new music this month than I have in a while. But out of this, Danny Brown, Nico Jaar, and Regina Spektor, I know this is the one that I'll be returning to most often. I still wanna check out the new Daniel Lanois as well, but I know it's mostly going to be a collection of interesting sounds, which generally isn't my cup of tea. This Bon Iver is good though.

I thought I was done with listening for this month then I realized I hadn't listened to Bon Iver and then Banks, Tycho and Head and the Heart showed up on my radar out of nowhere. It's a rough life.
