Highlights for the day were Floating Points (Both his DJ and Live sets were unreal), Beak>, Car Seat Headrests (Even if the sound at the Pitchfork Stage is unbearable), Air (!), Tame Impala, and LCD Soundsystem were fucking phenomenal, they almost convinced me they were a rock band last night.
Good to hear about Floating points, he is doing both a DJ and live set at FYF and I can't wait.
How were the main stages? Dutch friends of mine are saying it gets way too overcrowded there during the headliners.
It does get ridiculously crowded, but they show the band playing on the "down" main stage during the other one, so I watched half of Tame Impala from their stage, then walked over and got a good spot at the soundboard for LCD and watched the rest of Tame from the video screens at that stage and could still hear everything. I plan to do the same tonight during Beirut for Radiohead.

I'm sure the entire festival will come to Radiohead later. Enjoy!

The Avalanches were fucking terrible. It was a DJ Set with awful transitions while they stoop up there holding vinyl above their head and taking swigs of liquor from the bottle.
Couldn't have asked for a better setlist from Radiohead last night (well except for maybe Videotape). I got Talk Show Host, 2 + 2 = 5, There There, Street Spirit, Nude, CREEP, Pyramid Song, No Surprises, Weird Fishes. I'm one happy dude.
Hands down, this was the best lineup I saw this year.
Let's go next year.
You have no idea how much I'd love to. Don't think it will be in the cards next year, but planning for 2018 might be a possibility. But who knows, dreams happen
Today I get to see Brian Wilson Performing Pet Sounds > Deerhunter > PJ Harvey > Sigur Ros > Moderat > Pantha Du Prince. What a run.
Skipped PJ Harvey for food/drinks and Sun Glitters and dont regert that decision one bit, he killed it.
Also DJ Coco after Pantha Du Prince was on fire, I couldn't believe how many people were still there at 5AM dancing their asses off, at least 20,000.
And holy mother of fucking shit Moderat was EASILY the highlight of the day, what a show.
*Brian Wilson was honestly quite terrible, it was basically him singing 2-3 songs (God Only Knows was legit) and then a cover band the other 90% of the set.
