Well dammit. I should log in more and pay better attention I guess. I would have gotten in on this. I started taking better care of myself a bit before OBH2. Then a few weeks ago, started walking for about 45 minutes or so a day, about 5 days a week. Most of you know what I was looking like last summer. Ugh. Good luck to all of you!! This was a great idea.
Also, here I was last week. Taking a silly selfie for someone. Feeling much better than I have in sometime.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

So glad to hear you're taking care of yourself, and to see that silly selfie smile again!
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you can still join late; you're just at a week's disadvantage. I almost didn't join at all because I'd misread the goal as "lose 4% body fat" and thought, "well, that ain't happening". Meanwhile, the rainy season is well and truly in effect now, which is putting a damper on my walkin' plans. And my "stay away from big, hearty meals" plans. Stupid Mother Nature and her bullcrap.

If you still plan to lose 4% of your body weight over the next 3 weeks, you should definitely join. I'm not making any suggestions. You look like you could be done.

I'm down my entire 4%, although I did have an ever so tiny slice of chocolate cake that was brought in for a coworkers birthday today. I literally had a 3-bite slice, haha. So that'll probably put 85 pounds back on to my thighs (rough estimate here, guys).
I don't have a lot of spare time to work out (unless I get up earlier...which won't happen) so that's my biggest down fall right now. Other than today's cake though, I've done very well with the eating right.

When you guys signed up for the transformation did you pay for the entire thing upfront? I saw that you get some sort of tokens. I decided I'll sign up and join you guys! But I wasn't sure if I should pay monthly or for the entire 6 months.

I paid upfront bc you get a month free aaaand the tokens you gotta buy but they aren't required. You can do official weigh ins with them and get entered in drawings. I bought them but haven't used one yet.

Oh I didn't realize the month free part. I signed up and paid upfront, we got this! I hope I win an Amazon gift card, then I can buy more random shit for my camp setup.
totally fell off the wagon over the last 24 hours. Burgers and beers (and beers and beers) and ice cream OH MY!!! but as of RIGHT NOW I am back on track. here's to hoping I didn't ruin too much (I'm reaaaaaaaally hoping flashing all my dance moves last night helped a little)
Rough weekend for eating well. Plus I drank last night, so that doesn't help, haha. BUT oh the bright side, I somehow only managed to gain half a pound. Back on the grind tonight. How's everyone else doing??

I had two burgers yesterday and about 10 beers. I got back to my diet today! all you can do is stand up and move forward.
I've done really well and stuck to my eating and workout plan 100% for the past 7 days. After a slip up last weekend I wanted to stay on track. I went to a party and brought my own snacks so I wouldn't be tempted if I got hungry.
Does anyone ever have anyone say negative remarks about you trying to lose weight? I feel like I hear things like.....you need to enjoy life...you only live once have some pizza.

I do hear that on occasion, especially from one of my coworkers. Nothing too demeaning...most people have been very supportive. One of my roommates did say she thinks eating healthy is too expensive and too much work, haha. I told my 6-year-old niece (she lives with me) that if I got any money back from this, I'd give her $5 if she helps remind me to eat healthy and to get my exercise in. She's maybe too good at this job, but she definitely has been a huge encouragement, haha.

Yeah I guess it's more annoying than anything when people make comments. And kind of frustrating, but I doubt it's seriously meant in a bad way. Eating healthy is fairly easy and inexpensive for me. I recently took my niece to Burger King and her value meal cost $9. I couldn't believe the price! Now I think that's expensive. I'm like you could get real food for that price haha.
Having someone helping you out at home definitely keeps you more accountable. Glad your niece is so helpful.
