Was holding out on starting a thread for this fest but no one's done it yet and I can't find a lick of information anywhere else on the internet so here we are. It's a relatively young fest being just a couple years old but they took a big step imo from 2013 to 2014 and I'm going to be checking it out for the first time this fall.
The Top 6 last year was Kanye West | Foo Fighters | Outkast | Skrillex | Lionel Richie | Arctic Monkeys. As someone coming from Chicago, that top 6 smoked Lolla's last year (so did every other major festival but still). They had some great undercard stuff too like Alt-J, The Weeknd, TV On The Radio, and Broken bells just as quick, easy examples. Plus, it has the potential to be a little different given the time of the year since there will be unique bands hitting the fest circuit at that time as opposed to the spring.
Hoping they keep the momentum going this year but I do have a bad feeling about some combo of Drake and Sam Smith. Either way Vegas and a decent music festival makes for a hell of a weekend.
One positive is that I would assume that there wouldn't be any repeats from the Rock In Rio lineup in Vegas in May. It would make zero sense and I just realized Sam Smith is at that fest so he'll probably be avoided.

The lineup last year was unreal. However as a college student it's right in the heart of fall semester so I can't go. If they extended the acts to late night(1-2am) it would be perfect.
Ya they killed it. And you have the best username/avatar I've seen on Inforoo to this point. You truly are a golden god dennisreynolds . I got on this fest early though. Me and my girl haven't been to Vegas since we were little and couldn't even enjoy it so this is like a no brainer. Already booked the Bally's so we'll have to cab it or figure out transportation but we'd rather be on the strip for the weekend. Flights just went up for Southwest too but I may wait on those. Tickets won't go on sale till May probably so we can just pick away at the vaca piece by piece.

Last year, they had a shuttle that ran from behind the Linq, which I believe is only like half a block over from Bally's. I would think they would do something similar this year.
Good to know. The more I look at it, it's really hard to judge what to expect with this fest. Like last year sure AM and Outkast were making their festival rounds but Foos and Ye only played a couple fests and then acts like Lionel and The Weeknd barely played any fests at all. Hopefully they get a couple out of nowhere acts that aren't touring this year at every single fest.
I hate how there is zero rumors or news on this fest during the year. They're actually very active on social media and have responded to every tweet I've sent them but there's just no idea of what I'm looking at with this lineup. infinitypass or Launchpad could share anything they've maybe heard that'd be awesome.
Snagged 2 early birds, $230 after fees not bad at all since I'm going to Vegas no matter what. Normal price is $235 plus the ridic fees they have after. I'll take it.

We are out. Tickets expensive. A Vegas trip so expensive if line-up too similar to other fests (we have Hangout, Bonnaroo, Sloss). LIB Looks great. Please report back on how it is. The food and other seminars mixed with music sound great. Like you - it's all about Hangout! Can't wait. One week from today we'll be on the beach.

I'm holding off to see what the lineup looks like. We are planning a two week vacation less than a month before, and a long weekend in Vermont for a friend's wedding a couple of weeks after, so lots of other expenses around that time. If there's a really good day, we might do day passes, but otherwise, we will probably skip this year.
they're gonna be dropping clues on social media leading up to the official lineup. Brandon Flowers confirmed for sure which was a lock given the new album and the Vegas ties. I'd def check him out.
Major Lazer clue just dropped. Given the price increase this year and the partnership with Insomniac Events to help curate their exclusive EDM stage, I'm thinking they may be able to book some sizable names up top this year. Makes me think we get 2 big Rock/Pop names and a big EDM headliner paired with a medium size rock act opposing them. Something like...

Throw in like Imagine Dragons probably because they're from there, and probably Florence too to round out the top. I would like some heavier music than that but it feels realistic.
Juggz gets it. But seriously, couldn't be less excited. Cool Duran Duran is rare but that does nothing for me. Saw Stevie at Hangout and that was my least favorite headliner ever. Nothing needs to be said about Imagine Dragons and Kendrick Lamar is legit. That's fine. Hoping there's enough on the undercard. I mean Vegas is Vegas but if anything I would rather this fest be top heavy and show up later in the night because there's stuff to do all day.
Damn. There is a good midcard for that. I've seen a ton of those acts, but after the first 5, there is stuff I like and don't like but more likes...
