Genre. Though I'm afraid to say what the genre is for fear of getting in arguments and being out of my element.
No, I did not listen to it in those specific conditions but to be fair I've never listened to anything in those conditions.
I offer this suggestion because it is not my favorite genre and I didn't like it at first either... I recommend to skip the first track. I had a much better listening experience avoiding the first track of Jamie XX and My Morning Jacket's new albums. I didn't care for either opening song and loved both albums when skipping it.
Picking a single song off that album is so hard, because they all move into the next so easily, that I love them all in some way. With that said, when I start the album up, I really look forward to "Obvs".

I love Gosh. It's great when the siren comes in. I love that the vocal sample was taken from a BBC Radio show that featured DJ's and dance music called One In The Jungle. I don't get how anyone who likes the album doesn't enjoy that opening track.

I don't dislike Gosh at all, but it's definitely not one of my favorites on the album. Probably somewhere in the middle of the pack.

I'm not as crazy as everyone else is about this Jamie XX. I have listened to it exactly 1.4 times through, so I'll keep going. This thread has made me interested in the Kacey Musgraves record.

What happened with the 0.4? And the Kacey Musgraves is really good.
I'd like to start a petition to ban LD from the thread for expressing this opinion.
Don't be that music fan that thinks their opinion is the only one that matters. The good thing about music is that it's perceived differently by different people. That means your taste in music is no better nor no worse than LD's as well as anyone else in this thread.

philistine level taste detected
A Jazz fan may have little interest in Jamie XX's music... a Classical fan may have little interest in John Coltrane... an electronic music fan may have little interest in Willie Nelson. Just different strokes for different folks. It's good to show an appreciation for all types of music but you can't shame someone for enjoying music that you, personally, aren't into... that was mainly what I was getting at. That poster was a repeat offender.

I saw a squirrel.
In serious, I had it in my 6 disc changer in the ride but cleaned out everything in there for my forth party last night. Gonna reload it and give it another go soon. I'm really in to Unknown Mortal Orchestra's new one, though it came out in May.

I dunno. He said Believe is better than Gosh. That might be an objective falsehood.

I love it when people preach the subjectivity of music and opinions to juggs.
I know you mean well, and I get what you're saying, but this "repeat offender" cares not for the philosophies of "different strokes", and "that's just like, my opinion, man". Save that talk for the drum circles. He is helping people, coaching us along to better our lives by enriching it with things that he likes. We are all just mouth breathers who clumsily stumble around this thread trying to comprehend the complexities of the noises we pump into our ears to him.

No no, I think ol Rebelbrad may actually be getting through.
