I get that this could very easily be Flume and the clues have been super-easy this year, but shouldn't we figure out a connection between Flume and "getting back to our roots" before declaring this one solved?
I feel like it could be a band from the 2002 lineup, based on the radio clue...

roots --> roots of a tree --> log flumes --> I think they're shittily trying to draw attention to the actual log part of the picture --> therefore flume still fits
"After doing some research, this is a log flume ride from a buccaneer style theme park in florida called "pirates world" in the late 1960's-70's pirates world was the venue for several rock concerts such as Jeff Beck, Led Zepplin, Iron Butterfly, GREATFUL DEAD, Black Sabbath and Blood, Sweat and Tears."
except its not from the place in florida, evidently

Down Under: roots Australian EDM artist: Flume Austrian bullshit music: Savage Garden (roots?) Australia slang for fuck : root Australian contributions to world culture : Big Country, Midnight Oil, AC/DC, Paul Hogan, Russel Crowe
Alright check it. "Back to our roots" - Primus/Claypool was around a lot in early roo lineups. The log flume reminds me of the boat ride in Willy Wonka. Primus and the Chocolate Factory confirmed.

I am very embarrassed by the apparently obvious conclusion that it is Flume, as I have never ever heard that word before.
I suppose I could google, but what does it mean?
Also, never heard of the musical act either.
See definition #3:
flume flo?om/ noun 1) a deep narrow channel or ravine with a stream running through it. 2) an artificial channel conveying water, typically used for transporting logs or timber. 3) a water-chute ride at an amusement park.
He's an edm act. Not that big of an act tho. LN hopefully. But Idk where he'd be on the line up.
I am new to all of this Roo Clue stuff, so bear with me.
Is the Instagram clue more important, than the radio clue?
Seems like most of the guesses in the threads I have read focus on the Instagram clue, and then try to make the radio clue fit those guesses. What if the radio clue is more important? Or if not more important, maybe it is clue that should be looked at first?
Like this radio clue, "Getting back to our roots"? IF that clue had been given first, I would guess that all of the guesses would focus on groups/acts that appeared at the first Roos. Then, the log flume ride clue would be used to figure out which of those initial acts these clues are pointing toward.
Seems Flume as the answer is just way too easy.
Just something to think about.
When I first read this I immediately thought you were an intern, then I saw your recent posts and realized you're just some dude that really dislikes Lionel Richie
I'm hopeful for MMW lol. There are three of them and three on the ride, one of their more well known songs is I Wanna Ride You, and a lot of the stuff in the picture is made out of wood. On top of being a classic act at past roos

I'm just gonna pretend that this clue was actually MMW and not flume, because MMW with John Scofield are infinitely more talented, and not forgettable edm trash
