Did anyone else look at their "Play it forward" playlist? Mine had a couple of songs I've already listened to/starred/whatever, but so far I actually like most of the songs they suggested for me.
Yes I did. It's ok. There is stuff I have heard and some new stuff. I am all about the music suggestions.
Not sure how to do spoiler tags so I'll just type this out.

you're in second place. Highest so far is 66,000+, then you, then me at 61,000+.
Mine is high because Spotify is pretty much the only way I listen to music. I mostly use it in my car through Bluetooth. And this year I was traveling a lot, so lots of road trips and plane rides accompanied by my phone. If I used Pandora or CDs or YouTube or Soundcloud or iTunes more or something that number would be much lower.
This whole thing is great but it is skewed to the music that comes out early in the year and the music I listened in preparation for the various concerts and festivals that I went to this summer. I wish they had a way to view the last 12 months at any point in the year.
you, and everyone else on this board for that metter, should get a last.fm account. I've had mine set up since sophomore year of high school and it links up to all music playing services. the statistics are awesome and it gives really solid recommendations - I've discovered some of my favorite bands from it.
ah! I love things like this!! I went on my last.fm account and things are *slightly* different... I'll post both for funsies. mostly so I can come back and look at it all later.

I just went onto my profile, and right below the top artists list section there's a "see more" button. click it and you can toggle between artists/albums/tracks and you can select if you want to see 7 days, 12 months, overall etc.

Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
I've yet to really dive into Spotify, so my results are a bit skewed, as I still rely HEAVLY on iTunes for most of my listening, but my top played artist was Pavement, so that's cool, right?

It's crazy how much celebrating and getting familiar with the artists on the Bonnaroo lineup effects what gets repeat plays on my Spotify. Of my top 100 songs only 17 were from artists not on the Roo lineup, and 12 of those were from the Weird Al album.
This thread is awesome and I love when Spotify does these things.
I made a playlist of all the songs in this thread. If specific songs weren't provided in a post I took the most popular song of your most listened albums. In some instances where there wasn't adequate info I just took a shot in the dark (specifically with Depeche Mode but there might have been a few others).
My top songs are at the very end if you are interested. I'll post my stats when I get some time.
Oh and if anyone has serious objections to stuff on that playlist I will go back and edit it. And of course I'll update it if anyone adds anymore Spotify stats.
Such a good looking playlist. But you have "Fall In Love" by Phantogram on there twice. And it needs more Sam Smith. MORE SAM I SAY!!!
Oh yea, I guess I did forget to include your lists in the playlist. Updated now to include SBTRKT, The National, Autre Ne Veut, The Weeknd and TWO more Sam Smith songs.

edit: and you guys don't need to keep spoilering your results. I just did that in the OP so it didn't make it forever long. haha.
