Right, I mean it's the Grammys. Look at the 3 other albums up for album of the year. The only top 5 worst than that was Rolling Stone's. I think Beck wasn't expecting to win, and I don't think he cares about the Grammys, and I don't think he gives a shit that he won. Which is why he didn't care at all about what Kanye did.
The most irritating thing about all this, is that most of the people who are up in arms about this, didn't even listen to Beck's album, and if they ever tried, they'd probably turn it off a couple songs in and throw on Beyonce. They are just using it as an opportunity to complain about Kanye.
Is there anyone else who supports Kanye in his action but feels that Beck's album was better than Beyonce's?
I don't support Kanye's reaction. Kanye was acting out what I think many people believed, albeit in the wrong way and in an inappropriate environment. Kanye is a celebrity, and with that, he has unlimited outlets to channel his opinions to the public. An award show while another artist is accepting their award is not one of them.
Secondly, while I think Beck is a great (to put it lightly) artist, I don't think his latest album was as good as Beyone's...at all.

I really didn't think what he did was in the wrong way though. Straight interrupting Taylor Swift? Ya, that was fucked up. Making a joke with someone he clearly respects (and who didn't mind being part of the joke), then speaking your mind later after the show? It's not that big a deal.
My bad, I was equating the Taylor Swift thing with Beck. With Beck, after the award show, it was fine. With Taylor Swift on stage it was wrong. Thanks for pointing that out.
I just think I need to get busy making those t-shirts I wanted to make last year.
What shirts? I'm lost right now. Must be my old age.
Remember us talking about making up man shaking his fists in the air shirts? With Mayo? I know it was discussed. I know bc I saved some images on my ext hd for reference.

While I feel like Beyonce had the best album of the year(I'm a dirty feminist, how can I not love an album with that much girl power?), I don't think Beck or Beyonce actually care haha. Just like Leo not winning an oscar, the fans seem to care way more.

Looking at reasons as to why certain genres have gone unrewarded, Young continued: "I think it looks like a list that's compiled by old people. It looks like the 12 records my dad bought this year, and I'm not saying that in a nasty way because there are records on there that I love, but there are elements of it that feel slightly out of touch". You think Tame Impala is going to shoot up lineups when they win the Grammy for best alternative rock album like Sam Smith did last year when he took home a gaggle of trophies?
