My better half and I have decided that we're both going to leave our jobs at the beginning of October, sell our possessions, pack up what we have and drive. Go wherever and do whatever. There is no concrete plan. We've both decided that this is what life should be at this point. We're sick of waking up every morning for our dull jobs, sick of this town, and we need change. This is the single most exciting thing that has ever happened in my entire life. We're going to travel for months, maybe even a year, for as long as we can. If there is anyone here kind enough to lend us a floor along the way or a backyard for our tent we would be so grateful. Whether it's for one night or for two weeks. I can repay you with a serenade and our wonderful company. Really, I'd just love to spend some time with any of you if we can.
As of now our loose itinerary is as follows:
Nashville, Pensacola, New Orleans, Houston, Austin, Colorado, Tucson, San Diego, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Northern California, Portland, Seattle.

Not enough Minnesota, man. I'll find you a spot.
Sounds awesome! Grab Life by the Butthole and make it say "Whhaaat?"
Good for you guys! If you make it to the East Coast, you have a place to stay with me! And please try to convince me to do this as well. If it weren't for my damn loans I'd be all over this.

That sounds incredible, best of luck to you man. You should visit Miami since you already plan on coming to Florida!

This sounds so fun! Hit me up when you have a good idea when you'll be in San Diego and I'll see if we can work something out Definitely want to have a visit when you're in town though!
I'd do Nashville, New Orleans, Texas, Colorado, (Skip Vegas and LA), North Cali/Oregon/Washington if for some strange reason you decide to leave Colorado.

Regardless. Infinite jealousy.
Pensacola is def worth skipping. Unless you have some good friends there. Then it might be good for a quick brunch.
Columbus kinda sucks, but if you're passing through and would like to stay a night or more you're more than welcome in my hizzy. I've got two spare rooms so you could spread out. Sounds so awesome, def something I think everyone should do at some point!!
Why must all good things happen in October? While I can't offer you a place in my house, I can find you one easy. Come to Richmond and I'll show you around this beautiful town. If the dates are right, I'll even take you to see a band in a basement.
That really sounds amazing, I hope you have quite the adventure. If you end up in San Antonio you're more then welcome to my couch and a smoke session or three. Update Inforoo with your exploits

Good luck! Louisville's not on your itinerary, but if you come through this way send me a message. Music and food is pretty great around these parts and I'd be happy to have you!
I know we've never really had a conversation and have never officially met, but I'd happily offer a place to stay if you happen to roll through the Minneapolis area. Best of luck on your travels!! I look forward to reading about the journey. Should be a fucking great time, if not thoroughly interesting.
Well now we just might have to. Maybe we'll head there before our stop to Manchester.
You really ought to stop in the Great Smoky Mountains.
This is a great point. You could save a great deal of money camping from time to time and there are a million places to camp in the park or close to it. My favorite is Cataloochee in Waynesville, NC. It's basically between Knoxville and Asheville.
This sounds amazing. I am incredibly jealous. If you happen to have a boat car you are welcome come and stay at ours. We have a spare room and we do the best BBQ east of the Atlantic.
