It was nice to see the Bruins pull off a couple of wins this weekend. I'm hoping they are starting to get things going, finally. I'm not getting my hopes up after this season, though. I don't want my hopes crushed again.

After last years disappointing end, I think most Bruins fans are scared to get as confident as we were last year.

Is Nashville loses tonight against Arizona, I'd be worried about losing home ice. Plenty of teams ready to pounce on the opportunity for 1st in the division.
Did anyone see that Bruins/Lightning game last night? That has to be one of the weirdest overtimes I've ever seen.
I didn't catch that game. I was watching the Hawks almost lose to one of the worse teams in the league. We are pretty good at that recently. Ive been following the Bruins though to see if they make it in this year. It's going to be close, but with the way they've been plying I think they'll squeeze their way in.

at this point, the Sens need a bit of a miracle. They can't continue to win the way they have been lately, and the Bruins seem to have found their stride. There's one more bruns Sens game, but even if the Sens win that, they're still down 3 points. I see Tampa vs Bruins 1st round, then Habs Wings. I just hope the Habs are getting this losing slide out of their system before the playoffs. I don't care about 1st or home ice, I just want a rested Carey Price going into the playoffs.

I agree, don't see the Sens making it but I would love for the Habs to take out the Wings early in the 2nd round. Should be a good game tonight against TB
Forget the 8 seed, looks like the Bruins are making a run for one of the three Atlantic division spots.
As of right now, they've won five in a row and are tied with Washington. They're playing the Caps tomorrow, which will determine 7th place. But they're also only three points between Detroit for 3rd in the Atlantic.
Now picture Boston leapfrogging Detroit and Tampa edging Montreal for 1st. Win or lose, just beat the snot out of the Habs.

. This is true, but at what point do you take your foot off the pedal and rest guys for the playoffs. Coming in hot is great, but to make a long run, you don't want to be playing balls out up until the final game of the season. The only time I can think of a team running a long win streak to solidify a spot up until the final game, and then making a long push into the playoffs, were the Flyers the year they were beat in the finals by Chicago. It's all about catching fire at the right time, and I'd be a little cautions of my team killing it with 14 games left in the season. Who knows when that streak will end.
Well I just blew more money on playoff tickets than I'll probably spend on festival tickets all year but I couldn't be happier. ::happy dance:: First time in my life I've been able to get 100 level seats. Can't wait for these matches to be finalized, it's going to be a push till the very end.

If we win tonight and win against Detroit Thursday I think the Bruins might grab that sixth spot. If we lose tonight we're right back in the middle of the wild card shit fest that is the East. I'd rather not make the playoffs if we have to face Montreal in the first round. Give me TB or NYR.

I don't have a problem with playing Montreal in the first round. It softens them up for a second round knockout, if/when they get past Boston.

I'd rather not get crushed in the first round. I can feel Rask shaking in his skates already.

If you end up needing anyone to go to a game, if I have extra money, I'm your guy! Wasn't able to spare any money the day they went on sale. I usually wait until day before or of hawks games to buy and can usually get face value or below. Doesn't always work out that way though
Bruins are now tied with the Red Wings. Wings choked in the third period last night. I have no idea how that last goal by the Bruins even went in, but I'll take it.
I want to see the Pens lose the next 3 games and not go to the playoffs, though that's not looking very likely. So many of these matches are huge tonight I don't know what I'll be watching.
The up and down in the central division standings is making me crazy. Partly because I have tickets for the first round and have some traveling to do for work. How can my company open a new store during the post season. I hope I don't have to sell my tickets because I'll be out of town.

I'll probably be watching the Pens/Sens game. If the Sens lose and the Bruins win tomorrow, I'm pretty sure that means they secure a playoff spot.
