So while you are traveling to and from Bonnaroo do you have a special place to grab a bite to eat? How about picking up some craft brew beer along the way. If so post it in this thread. Looking for great places within five miles or so off of interstates and state highways that are in route to Bonnaroo. Let's try to avoid the chain restaurants and keep the format below.

Devils Backbone Brewing Virginia, Lexington, I-81 & I-64, Exit 191 off of I-81 and Exit 55 off of I-64. This is just a tasting room and they also have to go.

Have you ever tried Blue Lab Brewing in Lexington? I have buddy that lives near them, so we have stopped in a couple of times. Pretty good beer, but no food, I don't think.
For those of you coming through Winston-Salem on I-40, we have two brew pubs downtown that are doing well. Small Batch is the newest of the two. I am not as big a fan of their beers, yet, but the food was quite good on the occasion I had to enjoy some appetizers. Foothills Brewing is quite well established, and has developed a bit of a reputation for good beer. Their Sexual Chocolate imperial stout has scored very well, but is only available in short runs a couple of times each year. At 9.75 ABV, it will put you down if you are not careful. They are currently offering a new IPA for each month of the year, which is pretty cool. Typical pub fare food. I like the fish & chips, and the burgers are good. If you are there on a day of a baseball game, you may wait a while (service can be slow).
If you intend to stop, you will need to take the business loop through the city, rather than the by-pass.
