1.) Run the Jewels 2/ Run the Jewels 2.) St. Vincent/ St. Vincent 3.) Here & Nowhere Else/ Cloud Nothings 4.) Dark Comedy/ Open Mike Eagle 5.) Against Me!/ Transgender Dysphoria Blues
Hoping to see 1,2,4, & 5 at Roo. (Cloud Nothings are disqualified because they were there last year and I already got my thrash on at that sick sick Thursday night show.)

1. Benji - Sun Kil Moon 2. St. Vincent - St. Vincent 3. HEAL - Strand of Oaks 4. They Want My Soul - Spoon 5. Metamodern Sounds in Country Music - Sturgill Simpson
Just realized that four out of my list actually made it on the Roo lineup, exceeding my expectations by exactly one act. Good job AC.
off the top of my head, I could say at least 6 of the artists on my top10 albums of 2013 made it onto the 2014 Bonnaroo line up (Kanye, Vampire weekend, Phosphoresent, Pusha T, Nick Cave, Darkside) That's without really putting much thought or referring back at all. Pretty standard to see some of last years active artists on this years line up. Not to diminish any excitement, It's just, I dunno, 2014 was pretty weak to previous years, in comparison, and thus results in a weaker line up. Still plenty to get excited about, just my opinion on the whole thing.

A little late to the party, but these are my 10 favorite albums from 2014:
Alvvays - Alvvays Caribou - Our Love Foo Fighters - Sonic Highways Mac DeMarco - Salad Days Real Estate - Atlas Spoon - They Want My Soul The New Pornographers - Brill Bruisers The War on Drugs - Lost in the Dream Twin Peaks - Wild Onion Weezer - Everything Will Be Alright in the End
Also late to the game, but top ten for me (not in order because I get really stressed when I try to do that; I'm too indecisive):
Spoon - They Want My Soul Run the Jewels - Run the Jewels 2 Future Islands - Singles Caribou - Our Love SBTRKT - Wonder Where We Are Sia - 1000 Forms of Fear Damien Rice - My Favourite Faded Fantasy Sylvan Esso - Sylvan Esso Jungle - Jungle Real Estate - Atlas (I agree 100% with the notion that this was a fantastic album but sadly doesn't translate as well live - still makes top 10 for on-track quality though)
Okay it is time to admit that I haven't listen to Benji all the way through and I don't know why and I'm going to fix that today. As in, right now. Will let you know if I need to boot something off my list and replace it with that - I love Sun Kil Moon, and I really just don't even know why it has taken me so long to sit down and listen to Benji start to finish - especially after reading such great reviews of it.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
