I got an email announcing the 2015 dates. Not sure if that's wishful thinking on their part or political posturing on the other side. The fact they don't acknowledge that poor Security Personnel's ordeal in any capacity ensured I will not be in attendance.
How can the WWE have more heart on the passing of The Ultimate Warrior than them? Sad state of affairs.

They paid off the Miami officials, worry not. The vote on the issue was quietly rescheduled and replaced with a "discussion". Ultra isn't going anywhere

Miami's a toilet... I never plan to visit. That place scares me. If I was a millionaire or just thoroughly money mad maybe it would appeal. But im working class baby. Mi-mami ain't my crowd. Totally not what the spirit of bonnaroo is about ~

Its Miami, the city of the "bath salts cannibal" who later turned out to not be on any drugs. Miami, come for the sunshine, stay because you got murdered.

I lived in south beach for 3 years. I loved the *place* as in the setting. But the people suck. The city caters to high rolling bottle service VIP douchebags. Sure there are a ton of ridiculously hot women, but they won't talk to you if you don't have a pocket full of money. And the city is such a weird patchwork of beautiful high end rich blocks and crackhouse ghetto gangbang zones. And the government is among the most corrupt local governments in the country. Eff that place so hard. Done with it

Exactly what city does not cater to those with money?
And I'm confused by your second line... Would you prefer more money or more crack houses ?

When I'm talking about catering to those with money, while I think that's probably true about most aspects of the city I was kind of talking about "the scene". The music venue and club scene. It's the kind of place where they'll put VIP tables front row in front of the DJ so you get to stand in the back and watch trust fund kids pouring their bottle service vodka to all the hot girls in the club while they sit down and text all evening while the real fans are herded to the back of the venue in a cramped up space. Oh, and we can't afford more than 2 beers because they're $7-8 each. It just irks me.
And when I'm saying it goes from wealthy high end to crack house ghetto, what I'm saying is there is no middle class. It's the haves and the have nots. Either you're rich and you can afford the high rise apartment and the front row bottle service, or you're not and you live in the ghetto and get to stand in the back of the club.

The real problem is "artists" are more concerned with profit than their "art". VIP tickets mean more profit for the venue and artist.

Wow you are awful
Correction. John Lennon socialist that believes in freedom from elitism. Thats all :-D if thats awful. Well. Then im awful. But im a happy awful. Very very happy and peaceful. Because helping others amd arming and fighting for the poor and needy brings great peace and happiness. Miami simply doesnt represent that. And in its pure form, neither does capitalism. However. Most Americans I know would take the shirt off their back to help another :-D I still love the people in this country so very much! But we are blinded by money. And our global neighbors know this about us. This is our reputation around the world. And Miami is a sort of epicenter. Ironically..through foreign transplants from Brazil and other closely connected countries that their wealthy leaders have destroyed and now they love onto miami. And yeah. They've destroyed it too. Greed is destructive in any form shape or nationality. So. Yeah. Ive been called a john lennon socialist because im for helping the poor. doesnt seem that awful. ~ ???

And of course Ultra was staying put. What city in their right mind is going to pass up millions of dollars because of a security issue that could be solved with a few hundred thousand?
