TRAF takes place June 6-15 in downtown Pittsburgh (Point State Park). Lineup is being released today. For those unaware, there are 1-2 shows per night, and shows are free. I'll keep this post updated with the acts as they are announced (as well as future announcements regarding other free shows/festivals in and around the city).

TRAF (accidentally?) posted it to Facebook at 10:30. I gave a little squeal when I saw it. I'll be in Atlanta for a conference from June 11-14 (meaning no Bonnaroo ); I'm so excited that the three acts announced so far will not fall in that interval.
Oh I do like him. I would definitely catch him if I was not going to be mid-flight at that time. But I'm not worked up about missing him; I caught him at Bonnaroo a few years back.
I'm hoping that the Symphony night will be on one of the nights that I can't make it. (Nothing against the symphony)
Fingers crossed for First Aid Kit on June 10. (in Philly on the 9, NYC on the 11; no other open tour dates for them during TRAF)

Another great act, but one I am okay with missing. I've been listening to the stream, and I think it repeated itself. Kaiser Chiefs were announced again, then they played the same 2-3 songs.

I wanted to bump this to promote two Pittsburgh fests this weekend.
First off: Deutschtown Music Festival in the North Side. A bunch of local acts will be playing. I'm sure it'll make for a good night out, and you'll be supporting local music.
Most importantly: Whiskey Rebellion Festival in Washington, Pa. Whiskey, history, and good music. How can you beat that? Felice Brothers will be playing Saturday night. I believe it's free. This is where I will be.
