I didn't know where to post this so mods please move it if there is a better place.
Whether they represent a user's picture or signature, there are a lot of gifs on this site. If you're like me, you've often pondered: "what is going on in that gif?" or "where does that gif originate?" or "I wonder what the story behind that gif is?"
I've made this thread to find answers. Please explain where the gif in your picture or signature came from, what it means, and the story behind it. You may even want to include why you chose it to represent you.
I love Elton John and the Muppets. I was so excited when Elton became official I decided to use this as my signature. I "made" it right after BLAM. I think this was during his performance of don't go breaking my heart on the muppet show.

I just recently changed my avatar gif so I'll cover both My current gif is of Jennifer Lawrence opening something, spilling it on herself, & nonchalantly hiding the evidence & pretending like nothing happened. Love me some JLaw & I'm pretty much just as socially awkward as her. She is seriously what I would be like if I were famous.
My previous avatar was a dancing Emma Stone from Ellen. I love Emma stone, I love to dance, & the way she danced in that video is pretty much how I dance in real life. (The video is her doing a "dance challenge" where she dances behind people without them realizing it. It's pretty funny)

You only get one life. There’s no God, no rules, except for those you accept or create for yourself. Then once it’s over… it’s over. Dreamless sleep forever and ever. So why not be happy while you’re here?

Mine is the Eggman showing off his wares to Miss Edie in the John Waters film "Pink Flamingos". I would do some research on this film before watching, but it's got some of the best dialogue ever written.
I'm a big John Waters fan, and the signature is mostly so other fans will recognize and so unsuspecting folks will have their film world broadened.
