Hey guys! 3 (maybe 4) friends and I are going to be renting a 7 person RV leaving from the toronto area and heading down to Bonnaroo, we're not completely sure what day to head down (possibly the 11th?) this is our first time going. We're looking to fit 3/4 more people in our RV, let me know if you're interested!
Hey! I'm trying to make sure that I can find a way down to Bonaroo and Im just outside of Toronto. Have you figured out how much it would be per person to get down there? Cause It would probably be me and one or two other friends looking to head down, if you guys got room

Stellar! If you brought just one friend down these are the costs per person
For the RV w/ tax and milage: $250 (except we have to put down a $300 deposit to reserve one, it's also refundable up to 7 days before we leave if anything happens) Refundable security deposit when we pick it up: $83
I used a gas calculator and it said the gas is $700, i think it'd be a little more than that, so $800 to be safe split between 6 people is $135 per person
All of this would obviously be cheaper if you brought 2 friends

I just wanted to mention that although the RV places say they will sleep 7 ppl. It's really more like 6, particularly if you've got a few folks around 6 feet. Even though you'll have AC in the RV, 7 will still be tight and people will be a little grungy from the heat/dirt. Just a heads up.
Also, since the RV moves much slower than a car and it's your first time going, I would recommend you leave Tuesday evening after traffic to get a few hours in before crashing for the night. That will make your Wednesday drive much easier and still give you plenty of time to fill up whatever you need at Wal-Mart before going into Roo on Wed night/Thurs morning (whatever your plan is there).
Also, for the love of god, do not let any of your friends bring a single piece of contraband across the border. It's just not worth it.
