People tend to gravitate towards one festival experience more than another. Bonnaroo was not my first festival, but it's definitely the one I enjoy the most. I think it's a ll about what you want out of the experience. Obviously Bonnaroo struck a nerve in a lot of people, but so did Coachella, Lolla and a lot of other fests worldwide.
But to answer your question, yes, people get the warm-and-fuzzies about all different festivals.
