Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Super cool that you don't like them, (fuck feminism, amirite??) but they have cult status and would be a good get for Bonnaroo.
To be honest, I've never heard of them until this thread. All the info I got was from Wikipedia (which calls them a punk/indie band with feminist/left leanings, whatever that means).
It obviously means that you HATE them and are ANTI FEMINISM because you used it in describing the band in your post phrased as a question. You lousy chauvinistic pig dog.

Yup, "why would Bonnaroo book a feminist punk band??" is exactly how I read it. Clearly that's not what he meant. Thanks for chiming in.
Yeah I'm convinced it's hockey. They're from Portland, released an album last year. Their last album was "Wyreth is" and the clue fits it well. "These were made in the shade" can refer to Andrew Wyreth, the painter, who was famous for painting outdoor scenery. And the hockey, "win the cup" connection is pretty self-explanatory
I thought the original clue had been ruled out as being a fuck up on someone's part and has nothing to do with the pictured clue
The chick on the radio said, "The image is not part of the BAND'S name. Once again, the image is not part of the BAND'S name." I think we can rule out a Portlandia comedy set based on that. Otherwise she would have said "the ACT'S name."
Also, how the hell did time get away from me so quickly? Are we seriously only a month away from lineup announcements?!
I wondered about that as well since all the clues are on instagram. There's no reason why they couldn't just post a picture of words though.
True, it just seems like a new style of doing them. Last year poems, this year pictures.
It's a wait and see thing, I guess. One isn't really a reliable sample set. If we get three pictures in a row, it'll be safer to say they will all be pictures.
checked out more sleater kinney cause you guys are all excited about them. really don't get it guys. they're music is boring repetitive shit that's been done many times by other bands.

I know it may sound like it's been done before but some of their stuff is 20 years old,it was new then.
Haha. Sorry. I just figured it was common knowledge.
If they really are iconic in hipster and indie circles, you should always assume that we've "probably never heard of it".
Haha. I didn't expect him to know the music as much as the name due to Portlandia. Fred Armisen is known as the one from SNL. I figured people would wonder where she came from. I am also old enough to remember them as a new band, so my perspective on them might be a little skewed.
