I keep thinking about the fact that they used a star to point out Portland. Stars in maps are used to point out capitals, but Portland is not the capital of Oregon. Going off what other people have said
Capital Cities: do they have any connection to Portland/Oregon? Maybe their first TV appearance was in Portland, or they are known to watch a TV show set in Portland?
STRFKR: The word Star is in the name, and they are from Portland. Any connection to the TV? Maybe some of their songs or lyrics talk about an old Television?

It really comes down to that nobody knows the real answer. The specifics of the tv may mean something, and they may mean jack. They may have just felt like drawing an old tv. They may have just felt it was needed to make it clear that it was a tv. Washed Out and Sleater-Kinney are both good guesses, and we probably won't know for sure until lineup day if at all.

Last year they gave the correct answers either during or after the lineup announcement. So I'm guessing they will again.
this is what I just said with different words and a different link. Thanks for listening....
I used the official bonnaroo website that was dated, not a link to another thread (that I just read through) that never actually posted this link. Thought it'd be more helpful.

But yes. You posted first. Congrats.
Hey, don't be like that man, I'm just saying, you kinda drank my kool-aid there.

Gordon: Could be any one of them, but which one? W— which ones? O'Hara: [gasps] Batman: Pretty fishy what happened to me on that ladder. Gordon: You mean, where there's a fish, there could be a Penguin. Robin: But wait! It happened at sea! See? "C" for Catwoman! Batman: Yet... an exploding shark was pulling my leg! Gordon: The Joker! O'Hara: [It] all adds up to a sinister riddle. Riddle-er. Riddler? Gordon: Oh! A thought strikes me! So dreadful I scarcely dare give it utterance. Batman: The four of them. Their forces combined... Robin: Holy nightmare!

maybe the clue people KNEW starf---er would change to starquacker on our boards...lol Oregon Ducks quack quack..they are from portland..and the star in the clue is obvious
God people. They state of Oregon wouldn't be surrounded by a TV set if it had nothing to do with a tv series. The star is to highlight a city. Not starfuker!
