TO me it's a no brainer but someone else on here might have a different opinion. Paul Simon all the way. Pretty much everything Sting has done after Dream of the Blue Turtles (and arguably including DOTBT) is awful in my opinion.
EDIT: As far as putting on the better show, I'm still going with Paul Simon over Sting, I think he'll have a better....I can't think of the word, but a more relate-able stage presence.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go on an overnight drunk, and in 10 days I'm going to set out to find the shark that ate my friend and destroy it. Anyone who wants to tag along is more than welcome.

I'd love to see Paul Simon. In the list of people I'd like to see perform he's right between Eric Clapton and naked Grace Potter. Sting is much further down the list. He's between We All Fvcked Laurie (a Partridge Family Tribute Band) and naked Celine Dion.

^^^It may be soft as you say, but it's not tame.
I am so relieved that Simon is winning by a landslide. I have nothing against Sting per se, but one of the greatest songwriters of the past 50 years should get at least some of the credit they deserve.
Lastly I'll say that I saw Paul in '06 and while that was 7 years ago, it was a terrific and energetic show.
