I was saying similar when the Red Sox beat the Yankees in 2004.
(thinks for a minute)
Fuck.
Also: you wish your team wasn't playing during Roo. I had to deal with Bruins/Canucks game 5 vs. MMJ in 2011. I made the wrong choice.
As did I. Also made wrong choices for celtics in 10 and 12. Last year bruins was just game 2 I think so made the right choice and skipped that, it was still in the back of my mind. Looking forward to expirience a roo without worrying about playoffs.

June 19th is the last possible day for the playoffs, so if the Habs make it to the final, Kanye West will be the only thing to keep me from watching the games. If it came down to a possible Elimination game that occured duing Kanye, I'd probably go to kanye, check the score on my phone, and depending on how the game was going, bail on Kanye to go see the rest of the game. Any other act the whole weekend <<<<<<<<<<<<<< Habs in the finals.
Also, not saying Chicago is the weaker of the 2 teams, cuz they're def not, but habs and rangers are likely Hawks fans right now. I can see Habs having a better shot against Hawks, because Price can deal with potent offences, the kings, right now, are very scary. They just have that will to win. And they're much tougher, a bruins style, with better fire power, and I don't wanna have habs go through that again. We'll see. No more future outlook, focus is set to rangers.

I love the Kings' chances in the series. I grew up watching Quick in the AHL and he is a solid goalie. They have really put up a fight in the playoffs I totally expected against San Jose, but not against Anaheim.
Like I said earlier, neither the Ducks or the Sharks scared me. The Hawks would've smoked either of those teams. The Kings on the other hand will be tough. Hopefully Crawford will continue to play solid because as good as Quick is, the Hawks offense is better. Should be two more solid series.
we had a good run. I'm not giving up hope, but it's a much steeper hill to climb now. The pressure is off the habs to win, and crazier things have happened in the playoffs. Would make a hell of a story, but that's just a dream. I'm just glad the habs at least beat the bruins, and my uncle, who is a life long bruins fan, will wear a Habs jersey when I visit this summer.
anyone have any inclination as to if there will be a way to watch the cup series at bonnaroo?
'roo and the cup are totally coinciding this year, and i am panicking that i will miss out on the games!! ???
Yea that new stage they have was also announced they'd show NBA and NHL games, think world cup too.
"We are happy to announce a new stage on The Farm this year called Kalliope Stage! Be sure to swing by during the day to watch World Cup games and NHL Finals, but once the sun sets, be ready to rage into the wee hours of the night! With 70,000 watts of bass-ful bliss and an unforgettable light show filled with cryogenics, lasers and serial beams, this stage is yours for the taking."
Boner, why did the Habs gamble on Tokarski rather than run Budaj?
Tokarski has won at every level. We knew what we had in Budaj, we didn't know what we had in Tokarski. Look at the Ducks with Gibons. Guy played unreal. Rookie goalies have a tradition of coming out of nowhere and taking over, especially in Montreal. Tokarski played great, and only allowed one goal you can really blame him for. Lundqvist on the other hand, played better, and that's why we're not in overtime right now.
Who's the guy who wants Vanek in Minnisota??? You can have him. No heart and only plays in one direction. He just wouldn't move his feet tonight. I'm confident he won't resign in Montreal, and if he's gonna play like that, who needs him.
But I'm ok. Still not giving up home, but the Rangers are looking real good right now, and Lundqvist is on another level.
It's still very possible the habs can beat the rangers without Price. I don't think I can say the same vs the Kings or Hawks.
You really don't think the Hawks can beat the Rangers? The Hawks have the best team in the league from top to bottom and Crawford is playing better than any goalie in the playoffs. I don't think it's definite but as of right now I don't see how any team is favored over the Hawks.

you misunderstood, I'm only saying I still think the habs can beat the rangers without price. I DONT think the habs can beat the kings or hawks without price. Therefore, I feel the kings or hawks will beat the rangers.

The Hawks game is on while I'm supposed to be teaching tomorrow. I'm thinking that tomorrow's lesson will revolve around English and the sporting world. Or possibly the role of sports in American culture. Or maybe I'll just teach them how to say "shutup the game is on".
