In Montreal, the Bell Centre is holding a viewing party for the game tonight. It sold out (21,752 seats) in 2 hours. Just to sit in a rink and watch the jumbotron. Fuck I wish I was there!
I totally plan to judge who won the game tonight by the tone of your drunken ramblings.

I think after that game, I've realized Montreal and Boston were even in skill. It was definitely Montreal who wanted it more. That made the difference.
Now I'm rooting for the Kings or Blackhawks to win the cup!

In the last couple minutes I've received text from two friends rubbing in the loss, both are Sabres fans(who don't know each other). I just find that funny for some reason.
You had the better team, you really did. I dreaded this series. I knew the habs had a chance, but always preoaired myself for the worst. I wish this was the cup finals, so you could at least take consolation in geting that far, because the Bruns beserved better than losing in the 2nd round. The Boston Bruins would surly defeat the NYR in 4-5 games. I can onlu=y hope and wish the habs can get through in 7.
If injuries had not plauged your blueline in these playoffs, im confident this series wouldnt have made it to 7 games. Its the nature of the beast. Carey Price is the vessel that got us through this series, PK Subban the trigger to fire up the rest of the team with 3 minutes left in a disastrous game 5.
Even tho the Habs walk away from this series with a win, the Bruins have showcased some flaws within the canadiens team, that im sure managment has taken not of, and will work on, making us a better team in the future. Its been a true pleasure to experience this series, and cap it off with a win is pure joy. something you guys have enjoyed the last 2 times these 2 teams met in the playoffs.
Kudos Bruins. This was one for the ages. I hope you get to say, " At least we lost to the Champs", just as us habs fans have had the burden of repeating many times in the ecent past.
This beer is for you, Faithful of the Boston Bruins. without you, this win would mean much, MUCH less!!!!

im relly not truing to patronize, i meant every word. without price, this series was over after game 5.
and anything after this is only a bonus, The Montreal Canadiens just beat the Boston Bruins ( who won the presidents trophy as the best team in the regular season) in a game 7..... The Stanley Cup is secondary at this point. This was our Stanley Cup.

Before the series started I figured the Bruins would win in 6 but once it got to game 7 i would've bet some cash on the Habs. Montreal has been playing better as the season progressed so this didn't surprise me too much. The Rangers making it this far is way more shocking to me. I'm going to stick with tha Habs moving forward over the Rangers. Both teams are pretty hot right now so it should be another good series.
At this point I'm rooting for a Hawks/Habs cup finals. We'll see what happens soon enough.
Yeah, the Rangers better throw some more shots on goal than they did against the Pens. Lundqvist was amazing the last three games but you can't expect it from him through two more series.

I would love to see a Hawks/Habs battle as well. I'm glad the Hawks have gone this far but this is always a sad time in hockey for me. Days like today when there's not a single game for me watch. What ever will I do with my Thursday night?

Very true. The Habs management have noticed some big flaws and in my opinion, Boston has noticed the biggest flaw of them all, Chara. Chara is starting to show his age and our management needs to take actions over the offseason to offset the diminishing power he has on the ice. He's still a great player, but his cracks are starting to show. And for fucks sake can we please get rid of Marchand!!!
Is Price really better than Rask? The next few weeks will give us that answer.

. Boston makes goalies look good. Price makes Montreal look good.
5 elimination games this season including Olympics. 2 goals allowed.
