ALL THE CHILL PEEPS, from CT, Mass, NY, NJ, and PA...we are in an area where everyone has to pass thru (or probably will pass thru) the swamplands we call dirty jersey. Now i know how hard it is to get coordinated to get a convoy going ( and to motivate hippies ) but if you are really interested in driving down and maybe camping together please POST HERE so we can all see what the other is thinking...I LOVE BONNAROOOOOOOO.peace out alp ;D
or, if you can't get organized before you split, keep an eye/ear out for cool brethren at the Rest Areas & hook up along the way...we should be easy to spot as we'll all have HUGE FCKING GRINS on the drive down!!
Wednesday AFTERNOON most likely after 4-ish. Gates are opening like.. 6pm, we'll be getting to TN around 4am, HOPEFULLY. All you NE roo-ers need to get on the ball and post times if you wanna convoy down with us
Leaving from Amsterdam, NY (albany Area) on Wed around 11:00am. Hitting Scranton, PA to pick up our RV and then headin out down 81. Would love to meet up with some people!!!! Also trying to figure out the best way there with the least amount traffic. Let me know what you think.
Amber

bonnaroo is great the first time... wait and the second time and i sure hope it will even better the third time around ;D... we took a county route last year to get to the entrance and heard that had the longest wait...i ve also heard that our best bet will be to continue on westward to nashville and then drive south to manchester on I-24. you r definitely doing the right thing by getting a rv first time we didnt and had to suffer the wrath of the portapotties and no a/c which sucked. last year the rv pretty much made the trip... i hope we can all meet somewhere on the highway for a convoy, cause truckers down south drive like they own the road, one of them actually took our mirror off last year. see ya...
oh god....avoiding dirty jersey at all costs here...
actually found out the the quickest route from bonnaroo from western mass. is via cleveland! so rock and roll hall of fame wednesday night, here i come! ;D
i will have to go through jersey on the return portion of the trip though...coming from atlanta and then philly back up to MA.
im also a dirty jersey boy from right outside of philadelphia. im lookin for any rides to bonnaroo. hopefully you can get back to me man by monday, if not looks like im going to be hitch hiking it down south. so tell everyone to keep an eye out at the rest stops.
