...are we talking about the same "Swiss" here? As in, Swizz Beats? As in, the goofy swamp roach who has been ruining every track he's touched for the last ten years or so? THAT "Swiss?"
Come on now.
Ruining every track he's touched for the last ten years? Sorry -- I forgot that mainstream producers aren't allowed to be original and/or creative.

Um. Say what? I think Swizz has been garbage for a while now. That has nothing to do with my opinion of mainstreadm producers in general, especially since I think that Just Blaze, Pharrell and Timbaland are still three of the best out there doing it.
Ten years might have been overstating it. But go look at what he produced from, say, 1997-2002, then what he's done since 2007.

haha almost the exact way I feel about Jay-z. Almost the same time ranges i would cite too.
But Swizz is terrible. I don't bother with anything he produces these days. Nothing is worse than when I see he is actually featured on a track. Please keep him from the vocal booth.
Finally listened to it last night... I was so underwhelmed it wasn't even funny. The intense high feeling of "Oh shit this destroys" I got on my first listen of Yeezus was matched only by the intense feeling of "oh shit this is wicked mediocre" I got upon first listen of MCHG.

Meh.
Same here, KM. I just got both Magna Carta and Yeezus last week (I'm way behind on my music). MCHG is dull. My boyfriend and I listened to it in my car, I thought he might fall asleep ?? And he loves Jay-Z.
Maybe it will grow on me the more I listen to it, but I'd really rather listen to Yeezus.
