I think GZA, Method, and Red are all shoe ins from Wu. I'd be surprised otherwise.
Has Redman appeared at any of their shows since Coachella?
No idea. I know he isn't a member, but I kind of assumed that he always toured with them. I'm only basing this off the fact that I saw them once two years ago and he was with them, so I'm probably wrong.
Though he could also work as a "special guest" even if he isn't at the Wu set.
I know Red isn't officially a member of Wu but sometimes you see him listed on their roster. I think he is considered a part time member. I saw method man and redman together about a month ago, but doubt hell be at Bonnaroo.
Was he with them at Coachella though? If so, then there's definitely a chance.
Glow sticks are fun (atleast to me and PLENTY others I know). If you don't like them you're just a weiner and probably one of those "oh no! i got hit in the head with a little bracelet that weighed .2 grams.. my nights ruined." doodie heads.
And it's not like we're just going to throw them at people. Why not have some fun with em though?? I know multiple times I've been feeling pretty good at a LN and I see random sticks flowing through the air.. it's awesome!
With both Earl and Chad Hugo being there I'd be pretty shocked if Tyler didn't show up. Especially considering he'll probably be there for Earl's set anyway.
And then if Tyler and Chad are both there, I could see Pharrell being the D'Angelo-type name.
Earl + Chad = Tyler Chad + Tyler = Pharrell Pharell = WE'RE UP ALL NIGHT TILL THE SUN WE'RE UP ALL NIGHT TO GET SOME WE'RE UP ALL NIGHT FOR GOOD FUN WE'RE UP ALL NIGHT TO GET LUCKY WE'RE UP ALL NIGHT TO GET LUCKY WE'RE UP ALL NIGHT TO GET LUCKY
Daft Punk confirmed.
Solid reasoning, thank you for confirming it. But seriously, I could die if it actually happened. If it does happen, I'll immediately go buy a lotto ticket because I'll never be luckier!

This is awesome..I'm really excited for this superjam. It sucks that I'll have to miss Wu-Tang to try to get up front. Really hoping Pharrell joins the bunch as The Neptunes are by far my favorite producers.

3/14/14 - Bob Weir & Ratdog
4/25/14 - Volapalooza 2014
5/22/14 - The Infamous Stringdusters

8/16/14 - Dark Star Orchestra
9/19/14-9/21/14 - Bristol Rhythh & Roots 2014
it will be interesting to see how much of a "superjam" this will be, or just rotating mc's. it will also be interesting to see how lettuce fits in with all this. I would guess they might do something like the meters with dr. john in 2011, the band comes out, plays a few of their tracks, and then the mc's start coming out.
