So the fact that they put this insane superjam in arguably the worst spot, considering the Wu is on for a good chunk of the set, has torn a huge hole in my heart! I can not wait, Plus when I saw Lettuce, not knowing who they were, they were the first act that I'd ever seen at a music festival, so this has special meaning for me. The potential of this jam is absolutely insane. Now, To leave Wu a little early or to skip it all together...hmmmm....

Everyone experiences music differently. To say that something is subjectively wrong with live music is to also say that you are more than just your credentials or experience. It says that you are above whatever it is that you see as being the standard. Breaking everything down critically to the point where you are above every matter looking down on it only isolates you and makes you look foolish.
Well, I guess I'm definitely not catching any of ZZ Top now.
I swear the powers that be are trying to make me miss ZZ Top. I hope they play all my favorite songs first because I'm gonna have to bolt and see what this is all about. Seriously painful conflicts all weekend this year, esp. late night every night.

People are forgetting the first hip hop superjam with Galactic was in 2007. Look it up peeps, it was mind blowing. Missed govt mule for that superjam that year. I remember it had blackalicious, Challi 2na from jurassic 5, & 3 other hip hop artists for an epic 3 hours.
"That's the big thing about education. People can be book smart, but not really intelligent about anything else. A lot of times they just taking in all this information and regurgitate it. It's much more important to process it and personalize it. To apply it to your world, to your life. You have to walk the walk, or you can't really report about it honestly."

Since Wu got moved I could see Rza being the "Host" or "Leader" or whatever you want to call it of this Superjam. Would love to find out more info in the form of an interview or article. Hopefully one pops up soon.
I think GZA, Method, and Red are all shoe ins from Wu. I'd be surprised otherwise.
Method, I agree. Red? As in Redman--is he expected to be with Wu-Tang? He's not a member, and I hadn't heard he was touring with the collective. I'd be less surprised to see Raekwon and Ghost at Superjam.
The music is obviously a primary focus. I'll still get to see Wu-Tang. Yeah they're up against Wilco and that really sucks but the time can always be split between the two. But why buy a bunch of glowsticks without planning to do something fun with them??
"I'd like to say hello- to the black, the white, the red and the brown, the purple and yellow!" No way NAS isn't up there. WU-TANG killer bees- on the swarm! YEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH BOOOOOOYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
