Bonnaroo attendees will be livin' high on the hog at this year's festival, thanks in part to one of the food offerings that will be available. The Fatback Collective — a growing group of chefs, restaurateurs and entrepreneurs whose group is named after the fatty cut of meat that comes from the top of a pig — will roast a whole hog each day. Festival-goers will also be able to hang with the pitmasters and glean valuable swine intel.
Bonnaroo veteran and Tennessee icon Prater's BBQ, will also return for its twelfth year with a menu of BBQ sandwiches, riblets, smoked wings and cheesesticks. For those with an appetite for the eco-friendly, there is the Solar Café, from Norwood, New Hampshire, a mobile cafe that uses solar panels as its energy source, andPlanet Roo Café, Bonnaroo’s 100% waste-free café which will be serving Burritos, Quesadillas, Breakfast, Stir Fry, Teas, Coffees, Juice and Smoothies.
