I'm glad some others are opening up to the Killers a bit. By the time they play at night, after all the boozin that's been done all day to that point, it's gonna be a fun sing a long show to cap the day.
I agree that Outkast is the legacy act of this lineup but I guess I feel like Pretty Lights is locked in as the Chevy closer Saturday night, replacing Bassnectar from last year, and to have them go right into makes more sense. I could obviously be wrong though. That is gonna be a sh*itshow by the way if that happens.

I used to play that card as well. But the one thing I have learned about festivals is trying to make them make sense about who plays in front of who. After Lolla did passion pit into black sabbath in 2012, I gave up trying to project that. The good part is that we have one solid headliner- the keys. One great headliner- the killers( I love them personally), and outkast(which might maybe my most anticipated show ever). It will be entertaining either way!

Friday - killers Sat- pretty lights into keys Sun - jj into outkast.
I see the lips playing Chevy prior to pretty lights or queens. I remember infinity saying something ab wayne helping with the rollout, but don't remember curating a stage. What's that mean, exactly? Is he gonna "decorate" the stage?
Stevie closed Sunday last year but was listed 2nd, and originally listed 3rd. I'd be really surprised if they didn't have outkast closing the fest. I'd def be disappointed. I mean, I love the keys, but I think they're perfect for a Saturday night, not the last set of the year. Really need some extra energy on stage Sunday night, and I think outkast will bring that. Just imagine B.O.B. playing as everyone sings a song they know and as the firework finally starts going off - that, to me, is too perfect to pass up...

It means they would have had a hand in choosing which bands to book. But actually, I was wrong about them all being on the same stage:

I thought I remembered seeing something that it was included too but who knows. Also, last year, if you already had a 3-day pass, the pre show was only $22 or something. If you didn't it was like $40 separately.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. If you had a weekend pass it was only $20 last year instead of $45.
I think $40 or $45. I could see them bumping it to $50 this year depending on who is playing.
I'm sure everyone already knows this but I'm pumped for the preparty since Girl Talk's playing it. He killed it back in 2011 when I went so I'm excited for what he'll do at a later set.
yea my friend is big on GT and really wants to go and i like him too and i want to see him live. def fine by me if its discounted with a 3 day. so no beach access would mean just BMI/Hangout area and the tent?

Alright, time for a wishlist for the band additions... I'm thinking we're going to get a couple that would be placed around the 3rd/4th line of the poster since that's where there seems to be a noticeable drop off in terms of name recognition...
(In no order)
Cage The Elephant Young The Giant Umphrey's Mcgee Lorde Twenty One Pilots Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience The Gaslight Anthem Local Natives Dawes The Head and the Heart Disclosure Smallpools
Just spit-ballin' here but gettin half of those bands would huge for me.

im fully down with UM, 21 pilots, disclosure, the head and the heart. but I saw Gaslight at Made in America in Philly and they were god awful and they had a fired up crowd from Fitz somehow playing the set before them on the stage. didnt acknowledge the crowd once and literally they all just stood there and played, nothing creative or fun at all

Saw somewhere on one of the Bonnaroo posts about G Love and Special Sauce maybe going to the farm. They have a new album dropping in April and have nothing scheduled in May. Seeing as they're veterans I think there'd be a good chance that we could see them announced. Also, sent a tweet out to Hangout earlier this week about Cherub after mentioning them on here as a possible add... Woke up this morning with a random follow from Cherub's official twitter, so that could kind of be a hint at a possible appearance for them? Idk, but I thought it was interesting seeing as though that's the only time I've ever tweeted about them.

Here is my list. Half wish list and half "I think" list:

I'm cool with some from that list too. Anyone think we have a shot at AFI? They kind of fit that Coheed mold that played in 2012 and they're at Coachella so it's not completely out of nowhere.
