Also would love some Umphreys as most do but I just don't see it this year. Les Claypool's Duo de Twang would be sweet. I have a whole list of others but most are unlikely.

Anyone know PL is continuing the Analog stuff in 2014? It was always added to the names during the last tour and I don't see it here or any of the additional fest shows. Seriously one of the best shows I've ever been to.

The reasons you mentioned is why I think they'll be added ^ but I don't wanna get my hopes up. Those would be too huge adds for me, idc how many times i've seen both of them.
Friday: The Killers Saturday: Outkast Sunday: The Black Keys
Man are the Keys that big now where they can close out the festival? I know they've headlined others but closing out the fest I feel like is meant for the biggest/most nostalgic act on the bill. I feel like Pretty Lights ---> Outkast is our scenario for Saturday. Just makes too much sense. The Killers were just named the top live band of 2013 by "gigwise." I know that's a random media outlet but still, just gauging off their production and the fact that they haven't already played Hangout, I would think they'd close it out. Complete opinion though.
I still think HO is going to surprise with a legacy act announcement. Look at the previous Sunday night headliners.
Alright, time for a wishlist for the band additions... I'm thinking we're going to get a couple that would be placed around the 3rd/4th line of the poster since that's where there seems to be a noticeable drop off in terms of name recognition...
(In no order)
Cage The Elephant Young The Giant Umphrey's Mcgee Lorde Twenty One Pilots Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience The Gaslight Anthem Local Natives Dawes The Head and the Heart Disclosure Smallpools
Just spit-ballin' here but gettin half of those bands would huge for me.
I love this list! Now make it happen!
Would love to see Primus come back. Also, I think there is a good chance there will be a big surprise Sunday headliner announcement.

I think there's a good chance they announce a legacy act, but I would put the chances at less than 1% of it being a headliner. Those three headliners are staying right where they are at.
im fully down with UM, 21 pilots, disclosure, the head and the heart. but I saw Gaslight at Made in America in Philly and they were god awful and they had a fired up crowd from Fitz somehow playing the set before them on the stage. didnt acknowledge the crowd once and literally they all just stood there and played, nothing creative or fun at all
Seen gaslight three times and each time they have delivered! I hate that you caught a bad show. At festivals they just rip through songs though. That is there thing- they don't talk so they can play an extra song or two. Give them another chance if your schedule allows if they are there.
21 pilots- seen them three times and have watched their palladia special at least five times. I'm obsessed! Head and the heart new album is rock solid- haven't seen it live yet. Disclosure- when the fire starts to burn- I'm gonna dance! Grace potter- sexiest woman in music for me! Plus she f-ing rocks!
I like what is being thrown out. Even Lorde- I'll try anything once.
May Tycho May Phoenix June Rooo July MMJ and Margo Price August Queen with Adam Lambert August Roger Waters (Bucket list #1) August Spoon and Portugal the man Sept Depeche Mode Sept Pilgrimage Fest
I think $40 or $45. I could see them bumping it to $50 this year depending on who is playing.
I'm sure everyone already knows this but I'm pumped for the preparty since Girl Talk's playing it. He killed it back in 2011 when I went so I'm excited for what he'll do at a later set.
I'll take a stab at a few additions... Some very hopeful, though be it.
Band of Horses Local Natives G. Love & Special Sauce Broken Bells (most logical answer to today's Roo Clue, so there's a shot) Foster the People Cherub The Dirty Guv'nahs Aer Old Crow (were there the last time the Avetts played Hangout and toured together this past summer)
Is there a date for when the rest of the lineup will be announced, and do we also know for sure when they do release the rest will they release all the artist or will they come out on different dates? Any rumors too?
All we know for sure is in February they will release more artists. Idk how many at a time or exactly when but that's all that's been said to this point.
i never saw UM or 21 pilots. didnt have much interest in 21 when they played last year but i watched a live show on palladia recently and loved it so i grabbed the album and now i got it on repeat. if they dont land at HO ill be at firefly for whatever day the foo fighters play so i hope they land on the same day.

Yeah same here with 21. Caught the back half of their show last year when me and my friends were walking to Sea n Suds across the fest, was hooked ever since. They're awesome live. Saw them at Lolla last year as well as their show at the House of Blues here in Chicago in November. That would be a huge "get" for me. They could rock a stage hard on the beach, no need for them to be stuck on the Letting Go Stage anymore.
Took this pic last year after one of the shows. May can't get here fast enough.
My favorite pic from 2011... Looking back from the stage at CeeLo and the Foo Fighters. The sand and bikini clad smokeshows can't come soon enough. i.imgur.com/fEot82G.jpg
Just checked out the Firefly lineup, and I gotta say... That Jack Johnson headliner just kills that fest so hard for me. No shame on them, just really thankful Hangout didn't pull that crap with us. I do think that lineup is pretty weak for a 4 day fest. Hangout > all others.

I can already tell you Cage the Elephant and Jason Bonham are out.
Lets talk about how they need to get Chromeo on there quick! Also lets hope for Violent Femmes, Cake, ALabama Shakes, Sleigh Bells, MAjor LAzer, BIG G, JCOLE
