just left the Clemson game, so painful. had a great time with G, custeph + mr. custeph, sang_xcx + mrs. sang, and it was awesome to meet Siggy who happened to walk right past me after the game at exactly the right time.

So did you break the crowd noise record with your sousaphones?
idk? It was really loud in the 1st quarter. It was the most hyped up I've ever seen a crowd at a Clemson game. Too bad our team played so poorly. FSU is back, they've been trying to say it for a while, well now it's really true. I don't see anyone beating that team. I hope they get a chance to play for the championship. I wasn't buying it before the game, because they had not played any good teams and all of their games were really easy for them. Turns out Clemson was really easy for them too. Jameis is probably the best qb I've ever seen play in person (it was Matt Ryan before this). He never got rattled at all, we hit him it didn't matter. His line gave him time all night and his receivers were wide open all night just like they had been in the other games. What I'm more shocked about is how bad our offense played. I'm not surprised at all that FSU scored a lot of points, but I am shocked that we didn't. Only 7 pts? No one saw that coming.
Ka'Deem Carey is the most fun player to watch at Arizona since I've been paying attention to college football. It's a shame he gets no recognition at all. He had 236 yards and a TD last night and basically won us the game. He ran a 44 yarder in to seal the game when every single person in the stadium knew he was going to get the ball. Yet even with 8 guys in the box he was barely touched.
It seems a foregone conclusion he is going pro at the end of the year, but I can only imagine what next year would like if the QB slot was filled by someone a little bit more capable at passing.
Either way we are going to win 7 (+/- 1) games and have a legit chance to win a bowl game in 2 consecutive years for the first time in decades all because of one player. I know the Heisman isn't an MVP trophy but the NCAAF should have an MVP trophy and Carey should win it no matter what our record ends up being.
On a side note I was not very convinced by the 3-3-5 defense last season. I was utterly and completely wrong. I can't wait to see what happens with our d when it is run by players that were recruited by this coaching staff.

I have the same thing going on with Tennessee's offense. Worley, our current QB, has proven himself at least capable for the most part, but Jones prefers QBs with more mobility. I am interested to see how the offense will evolve when they have a QB that is someone Jones recruited.
