I usually don't get in to things like this, but don't you think the reaction from the individuals could have had something to do with it?
Good point. Puig does have a reputation for being a hot head, too. I guess I'd like to think the guy is smart enough to know that being a jerk to a police officer isn't the same as being a jerk to someone around the stadium or in the media.
At any rate, I feel like that falls into the "don't quack with the cops" category. It doesn't seem to work no matter what state you're from. Another friend also mentioned the Florida laws might be much stricter than SC laws in this regard. Hard to say without knowing all the exact details, I guess.
Not sure of the details, but in Florida, anything over 30mph and you have a date with the judge, which I assume means a night in jail to see him in the morning.

Yes, and since you were so reasonable about that, it made me think about your opinion more too, which I do think could have figured in. I'd say you're right that a hometown kid who went to the hometown state school after being recruited by everyone and balled out as advertised has more pull than a pro baseball player thousands of miles away who isn't from the place where he got pulled over and who raged onto the scene in a blaze of fury. I think we're both probably right. And Scrog, too. I love you guys.
Clearly the paint on the field is way too thick, maybe next time they should just use one coat. And he was gonna get creamed before he got a first down any ways.
I just heard Spurrier's acceptance speech at the Capital One Bowl trophy ceremony. I'd love to hear custeph's thoughts.
I. Hate. Dumbass. Spurrier.
One of my Facebook friends (who happens to be a Vols fan) said something I agree completely with. Spurrier being so concerned with winning a State championship year after year is reason #1 why they will never win a national championship.

But seriously, I hate Spurrier.
I heart Spurrier. He is king of the d*ckbags and he owns it.
In regards to SC never winning an NC, there was a telling stat today during the game. Today's victory capped SC's 3rd consecutive 11 win season. How many 11 win seasons does SC have in the history of the program? 3. People can hate on Spurrier's personality all day, but he is still a good coach even in the twilight of his career.

I almost forgot. Today reminded me that I wouldn't mind Clowney one bit if I didn't have to hear about him all game every time I watched an SC game this year.
Somebody reminded A&M they were playing a football game. More importantly, that they were playing Duke.
Unfair.
That was real football you saw last night from the team in blue.
The Chick Fil A/Peach Bowl has always been my favorite non-BCS bowl game, and it was even better in person. The whole experience was awesome. Obviously heartbroken by the outcome and how it came about, but happy that Duke proved they belong. Johnny Manziel is the best college football player I've ever seen in person.
The crowd you get when the Chick-Fil-A Bowl, a NYE Widespread Panic show, and Alanta New Year festivities all happening within a couple blocks is pretty incredible.

Duke proved that they really are the 3rd best team in the ACC, it isn't a fluke.
^As a Tennessee fan, I can honestly say the worst part of playing Spurrier over and over again is that you know, if you lose, he already has his little quip sound byte ready to go. He had decided he was going to say that, if they won, well before kickoff.
A part of me is still a little disappointed that we didn't get to hear his smartass rebuttal to Kiffin's "pumping gas" comment. You know it was coming if we had lost.

Haven't had to hear Spurrier's little jabs towards Auburn in quite awhile.... he's 0-5 against Auburn since he went there.
