So which QB-deficient team out there is willing to give up a 1st rounder for Captain Kirk Cousins? I'll hang up and listen.
I doubt Washington is looking to move him, until next offseason, before the final year of his contract. They probably want to keep him as health insurance for now. Obviously the right offer could change all of that.
Oh, I agree. Given Bob's knee, Captain Kirk is incredibly valuable to Washington at the moment. Which is why, if I were calling the shots, I would not take less than a 1st rounder for him at this point in time. But if that offer did come along...

Nobody is giving up a first rounder for Cousins at this point. If RG3 was to go down for a few games and Cousins played as well as he did in the limited number of games he replaced Griffin last year he should be a hot free agent commodity.

I'd be interested in hearing a debate on the league's top back-up QBs - Maybe not in terms of trade value but just the best back-ups if your starter went down today. Cousins has had his moments but there's definitely a few I'd put ahead of him. Foles and Mallett come to mind? I guess I'm kind of a homer with Mallett. I've also always had a soft spot for Colt McCoy... I feel like Harbaugh would have no problem throwing Colt McCoy into a pure west coast offense. That's just me.

As a Panthers fan I love our back up. Derek Anderson is not a sexy name, but he is more than capable to get out there and manage a game.

Off the top of my head I would say Kyle Orton is probably the backup QB I'd feel most comfortable with taking over for an extended period of time. Others that come to mind are Matt Moore, Derek Anderson, and Jason Campbell. I guess you could do a lot worse than Chad Henne, too.
EDIT: could also do worse than Matt Cassel as a backup
Shaun King still plays? I know you meant Shaun Hill and he is good. Hasselback I guess is a decent backup for the Colts. Matt Cassel completely let me down in my fantasy league last year. I didn't have him on my team but he could never get the ball to Bowe who was on my team and kept his team in a losing position thus not allowing my combo of Foster/Charles at RB to be unfukwithable.
Putting Colt on a good team is a lipstick/pig situation. Like Mark, he'll do okay, but he'll still do things that make you wonder how in the hell they made it to where they are right now. A good team can cover for them for a while, but they'll eventually crack and crumble. In Colt's case that cracking might be literal.
Btw, I misread one of your previous comments and thought you had said defense, that's the only reason I brought it up.

You're just too young to grasp how stylin' I really was. All the boys wanted to do me when I was 5. Actually the girls did too. My haircut was confusing.

Although we have not needed to play him much I'm really happy to have David Carr backing up Eli. I was kind of bummed when the Niners picked him up. He's been with the Giants most of his backup years so he knows the personnel and playbook and he hasn't had much wear and tear after he left the Texans.

Early reports are that Brady's "injury" is no big deal. If he is hurt, I sure do hate it for Mallett. The pressure involved in coming in for Brady is nothing compared to the pressure of keeping TEBOW TIME at bay.

Tebow Time will be kept at bay once Belichick sees him throwing three interceptions and 10 passes that aren't within five yards of a Patriots receiver.

Yeah, reports are that the MRI was negative and there was no issue with his ACL reconstruction. He is officially day to day.

Ready for a devastating, mid-August as$ whoopin!?
I am not really worried about winning a pre-season game. I just want to see our young players step up and see our O-line actually run block. If you yall whoop us so be it. It wont really matter.

Sorry, I thought the sarcasm was thick enough on this one. I'll try italics next time .
I don't care about the outcome of this game at all. The pre-season is when I get to pretend I'm a scout.
