Hmmmm. I'll treat this democratically I guess. It came out in England last summer, and only a few weeks ago in the US. Does it count for this month or not? It's new to us, but it's not new overall.
Alternate thought: If you vote for Ware first, do you get a second vote for something that is new new for April - not something which finally got released here after being around somewhere else a while.

Doesn't bother me if people select it, but we were listening to it all Fall last year and it was in many of our year end Best of 2012 lists, so I'm not going to include it, even though I think it's better than any others from this month.
Well then let's just call it NOT new. It seems like people have had enough time with it before this to not really consider it a recent release. Just my two cents. I just wasn't sure what to do with it.
I'm also cool with that. I mean I was kind of considering it like a leaked album or mixtape. Often by the official release it's been around a while. Taking Jessie Ware off the table I say Thee Oh Sees with Daughter as HM.
well that was a disappointing turn, everyone else starts agreeing with me and nominating Jessie Ware, then immediately takes it back. haha. I can't decide on who to vote for if it's not Jessie Ware I have to decide between Kurt Vile, Phoenix, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Flaming Lips and I guess I should actually listen to James Blake and Thee Oh Sees before I vote.
Well, I was set to post Kurt Vile last week, but wasn't around for a few days - listened to this one a few more times over the weekend and it won me over completely - even though I see it isn't going to win. And despite the heinous cover.

May is going to be so nuts. Already in love with Vampire Weekend, Deerhunter and Mikal Cronin and finally listening to Savages' album for the first time all the way through.
I didn't listen to a whole lot last month so I didn't vote but I'd probably be pretty split between Phoenix and Thee Oh Sees.
