Also predictions for next couple months: Phoenix beats out The Knife for album of April and I have no way of predicting whether Daft Punk or The National will have a better album in May but Im sure both will be unreal

The Men's new album is really different compared to Open Your Heart. More refined than just noise rock, and a lot calmer in spots. I've heard it a few times now, it's pretty good.
Youth Lagoon isn't really impressive imo. It's not bad, but it's not holding my interest very well.

I really fucking like Comedown Machine. I had a feeling that even if it was remotely decent Id love it and say its album of the month but I do think its very good and for now I say its the best album of March
Going to go ahead and vote on this month. March had lots of good albums, but I only thought 3 or 4 were legitimately great. 20/20 Experience, Cerulean Salt, and New Moon will all be on heavy rotations for months to come, but I didn't become infatuated with them in the same way I did with Images du Futur.
That said, I'm casting my vote for Suuns - Images du Futur
Just going to throw a list of things I listened to here at the end, in case someone sees a glaring omission that I need to look at before being able to say with some certainty that this is my AotM.
Hookworms, Shlohmo, Waxahatchee, The Men, Rhye, Youth Lagoon, Blue Hawaii, Jimi Hendrix, Suuns, How to Destroy Angels, John Grant, David Bowie, Autechre (technically 3/5), Wild Belle, Suede, Phosphorescent, Wavves, Justin Timberlake, The Strokes, Depeche Mode. I know everyone was high on Clutch, but I gave it 3-4 songs and didn't really enjoy it.
I'm getting to that point where I don't listen to much that isn't in my festival rotation, but I have been listing to this pretty non stop(enough where I have to put spotify on private session sometimes). My official vote for March.
I was actually going to post that I have already heard all the major albums coming out tomorrow. Guess I should have - lol. I reserve the right to change my pick if something I didn't expect comes out in the next week.

I couldn't resist. I should probably go ahead and vote for Waxahatchee since it's my AOTY so far, but I'm holding off until I hear Marnie Stern, Nails, Caitlin Rose, Billy Bragg, Wire, Batillus, and Brandt Brauer Frick. I've been slacking this month.
