What does Underwood do as President?? His only goals are screwing over people. I never saw him care about policy. I assume he just tries to manipulate other countries to go into war against each other.
So many people just get blindsided by this guy and were always so forthright to Frank even though he is constantly screwing people. Then there was the obligatory scene where the backstabbed person called out an Underwood only to be lied to.
This show was fun, but it was laughable at points. I hope the guy who played the President is never in a thing I watch, he was awful.

I binge watched the 1st season and waited nearly a year for the 2nd. Now, I only have episodes 11-13 to go in Season 2. I feel like I'm getting too close to the end and should slow down, but I can't stop myself
When he shoved Zoe my mouth literally hung open for awhile...then it was omg, omg, omg. This season is so freaking good. The back stories with Lucas and the hacker, Freddy, Rachel.
At the end of episode 10, the hacker called Rachel/was tracking Doug. I think he's trying to get proof of Lucas' story and is going to go down in flames himself to save Lucas from a long prison sentence.
Frank and Claire are really angling for the White House, introducing the thought of an affair, all the turmoil/controversy Frank has engineered. I won't be shocked if the President is impeached or resigns soon.

They were better headlining before the new album like the ought 6 show where they played In Rainbows.
The '12 show had 6 songs from In Rainbows: 15 Step, Weird Fishes/Arpeggi, Nude, Bodysnatchers, Reckoner, House of Cards
The '06 show had 6 songs from In Rainbows: 15 Step, Weird Fishes/Arpeggi,Videotape, Nude, Bodysnatchers, House of Cards
Also I find it hard to believe they wouldn't further investigate when they could have seen on the camera footage that Zoe went around the barrier and immediately back out the way she went in. That's not how someone trips.
Also, just saying, I totally called it after Freddy was telling Frank about killing pigs/hogs quickly and humanely, and saw how that particular scene was starting. First of all, bucket drummers would be outside the Metro because it costs $3 just to enter and leave in the same station - clearly setting the scene for something dramatic (sacrificial, even?). And a lesson for us all, that's why you don't stand near the yellow painted zone.
Chime in saying the show is entertaining, well acted, and fun, but it sure as hell ain't The Wire.
Some of the writing and story twists are completely preposterous.
Breaking Bad is the best show since The Wire. True Detective is the best show currently on TV, but its important to see where it goes before we start throwing around "best since the wire". This is the fucking wire we are talking about.
anyway this doesn't pic doesn't apply right now but it could get some serious use around here:
