Aside from giving the Best New Artist award to fun. over Frank Ocean (are you quacking kidding me?), the Grammys have been surprisingly decent this year. Some deserving winners and some great performances. Jack White was great (loved the transition) and that Black Keys/Preservation Hall Jazz Band/Dr. John performance was all kinds of badass (didn't make it to Bonnaroo the year they did the Superjam)
Former Best New Artist Grammy losers who have appeared at Bonnaroo:
John Prine Elvis Costello The Black Crowes Joan Osborne Erykah Badu Susan Tedeschi John Mayer Los Lonely Boys Joss Stone Kanye West Feist MGMT Florence + The Machine Mumford & Sons J Cole Skrillex Alabama Shakes

This is easily the best Grammys I've watched. All of the performances have been stellar; JT of course killed it, Jack White was amazing, loved Kelly Clarkson's tributes as well as the Bob Marley one. Great stuff so far.
