I don't think that they would return after just two years with no new material. Also don't know if AC/SF would want to pay for and distribute the 3D glasses, which would be what set the show apart from 2011. Would love to proven wrong.
6/20 Billy Idol w/ Cat Power
6/29 Naked Raygun
7/12 Belle & Sebastian w/Yo La Tengo
7/13 Phish or Savages
7/14 Phish or Wire
7/22 - 8/12 Victor Wooten intensive
8/13 Adam Ant
9/30 Atoms for Peace
10/12 TMBG
"In the darkness hundreds of glowsticks streaked the air like tracer shots in war. Giant inflatables bounced over dozens of light sabers pointed skyward. Stuffed animals impaled on sticks danced above the hot crowds, puppeted by someone just given ecstasy by a friend made seconds before."

I'd be absolutely fine with some Primus or any for of Les Claypool back at Bonnaroo I saw him in 2010 and 2011 (with Primus) both years were fun different shows

No new material doesn't mean the same show, They have quite a few albums and have been known to vastly mix up their sets. Plus, it would be awesome.
Also, if Roo is good at one thing, it's booking a few of the same bands over and over ( Widespread, Girl Talk, Dave Matthews, etc. )

Primus, Holy Mackeral, Frog Brigade, Oysterhead, solo, with a fox, on a box, don't care. I've wanted to see Les Claypool live for a long time, and it would be excellent to package that with my first bonnaroo excursion. Just looking back at old lineups, seems like he makes frequent appearances. I'm going to operate under the assumption he's in the lineup, because that's what I want.

I'm hoping for primus 3D at the farm and seeing that they are doing it at sasquatch fest give me hope again. Saw the 3d show, it was awesome, but you dont need glasses to enjoy the music. 3D is just a bonus...if we dont get Primus we might get Les doing something. I think the only other artist that has been on the farm as much as Les is Umphrey's
Am I missing some inside joke? I friggin LOVE Primus, have since the early 90s in hiiiiigh school
Never saw them live much did you?
Actually, every time I had the chance to see them I missed them. They played Jax just before Roo 11 so I didn't go, I was going to see them on the farm...but missed the show. Then they came to Orlando for the 3D tour and it was on a day that I couldn't get down there. Going back, I had about 10 chances to see Primus (or Les in any form) and it has always been some reason why I couldnt get to the show.

That little gap in there schedule makes me more optimistic about them being at roo, however if Les is not there I won't be heartbroken there is a lot on the lineup to be satisfied with.

Lol I remember when a few of us started a Primus sucks chant last time they were on the farm. People started arguing with us and we just started laughing. One guy said he had seen them like 6 times and they did not suck...I explained why we were saying it and he felt like a lying a$$hole and went to the other side of the Which Stage viewing area.
