So kind of a strange/random thread. But basically I am working on a writing project and figured you would be the right people to ask for input on this one. Anyways, I'm looking to compile a list of albums to knock boots to And i don't mean just romantic stuff, I mean anything(Hell, Bangarang is already on my early ideas). I am just looking for some ideas that I may not have thought of. Hopefully I get some good stuff, and hopefully I'm not the only one this thread helps out along the way Thanks in advance!
You may not have thought of these as you might be a redneck.. no no that's not it.. you might be a tad younger..
First off - add alcohol and Joe Cocker's You can leave your hat on, and its probably going to happen. (advisory note- make sure the coffee table is solid )
Not usually a movie soundtrack person however these two I love due to the eclectic artists. (Know you did not mean sound track like this but it came to mind.)
Heavily Romance, waiting for that love connection to happen with someone you have in mind - sound track from Hope Floats.. It's more subtle than mama fawn telling two love birds in a walmart parking lot to suck face and get it done. If you're not a hard ass and can stand some melloish romance music, this one is good. Papermoon is fantastic. Throwback stuff. If you like all types of music give it a listen with the above frame of mind.
Best one... City of Angels sound track. Skip the weepy stuff at the end, reorder a little. Start with the first three then listen to John Lee Hooker's 'Mama you got a daughter' before you move on to Paula Cole.
THIS is the sexiest, raunchy, get some song ever sung in the voice of an angel.
ANYone with even the slimmest of dance skills can seal the deal with this one. Put it on repeat play, by the time you get to the tie me up to the bed line.. it happening... This song is pure get laid genious--- the beats in the middle.. its got a beat you can.. nevermind you get it..
Play this for your other with a little physical dance expression.. then tell me if I'm wrong.
Another eclectic ST also good for the above. A different perspective for you H. Would love to read the paper!!
02/08 Tool 02/11 Jeff Mangum 02/17 of Montreal 02/29 Blind Pilot 03/31 The Naked & The Famous 05/14 M83 and I Break Horses 05/19 Flaming Lips, Young the Giant, Dawes and AWOLNATION 06/07 Bonnaroo 2012!!! 06/13 Roger Waters 07/28 Toadies

It seems as though fawnmart has a handle on this; I especially like the sturdy coffee table part seeing as I have drunkenly adorned the bar many times to that Cocker tune and wondered if my balance would fail me. :-)
When it comes down to making out, whenever possible, put on side one of Led Zeppelin IV.
Fast Times at Ridgemont High, right? I always love how later, when he is making out, he has Kashmir playing, which is actually from Physical Graffiti. I heard Crowe got permission to use a LZ song, but they wouldn't let him use anything from ZOSO.
Once upon a time in 1998, I had my first encounter in a parked Buick Skylark and this song came on the radio when I had better things to do with my hands than change the station.
I should hate this song. I did hate this song. But I can't. And that sucks.

Waiting for Dave to be like "wait, how do you know what its like to have sex to 4X4=12? that album came out after we got married."

Albums are tough because there's only so many albums that are sexy all the way through. But in terms of artists...
Sly & the Family Stone (one night stand) Prince (exciting new love) Howard Tate (sex with the ex) Bobby Womack (makeup sex) Otis Redding (long term relationship) Al Green (really long term relationship)
