I'd love to see this show again. I was at the Atlanta Halloween show but found myself unable to enjoy the show due to things going on at the time. I had allot on my mind both figuratively and literally that night. The show was spectacular so I'd love to see it again in better spirits.
But I don't think it would happen at 'Roo. Primus is pretty huge so I'd think they'd be on the Which stage. In order to truly enjoy the show though you gotta have your 3D glasses. Buku was a multi-venue fest so there was a maximum capacity and a predictable number of glasses needed. Bonnaroo not so much. The only safe bet would be for them to order 80,000 pairs. Then there's the question of how to distribute the glasses to the masses.

I doubt they would do Primus 3D show at Roo especially since Primus played at 2011. Even though I enjoyed the show in 11 I would NOT like to see them back on the lineup.
As far as distribution goes, they could put one in each guide maybe?
That thought crossed my mind. It never happened to me but I've heard people on here complain that some entrances would run out of guides. Same thing could happen to the glasses and that would be a bummer.

I could see Primus being there just because Les is kind of a staple of the line from year to year but I do not think that the 3D show would work. Saw it in a small theater and it was awesome but it is not high tech or large and it would def get lost on almost all of the stages at roo. Let alone the chore of handing out and recycling the glasses. Just not a show designed for the festival.

We almost should see Les in some form, history says. Keep in mind, that when the gates run out of scheds, the Pods always still have them. I haven't seen 3D, but I assume you still get a good show without it? Maybe let them and FLips curate some sort of LN beast.

Yes and Yes. Gotta disagree w/ you there badpunz. I thought the 3D was amazing and definitely took the show over the top. Especially Southbound Pachyderm, Spaghetti Western, and the balls rolling off the stage on Herald of the Rocks was just awesome IMO. But yeah even without the 3D glasses on the show I saw was fantastic if you like Primus.
