Music, my husband, my kids, my dog, my family & friends, my job, my football team being 10-1, pomegranates, my DVR, HBO & Showtime TV shows, Sanuks, yoga pants, my new iphone (1st smart phone I've ever had), festivals that are near enough to me so I can attend, QSAROO, learning it's never too late to have fun, and this board & the people on it. Happy Thanksgiving y'all!
All we have to believe with is our senses, the tools we use to perceive the world: our sight, our touch, our memory. If they lie to us, then nothing can be trusted. And even if we do not believe, then still we cannot travel in any other way than the road our senses show us; and we must walk that road to the end.

Wow so much. I'm thankful for my husband, my children and their health, the light they bring to my life. I'm thankful for my friends, especially the new ones from here I've gained over the last year. I'm thankful for musicians who sing and play the music that speaks to me. For my parents and extended family. I'm thankful that my brother and dad are alive this year. I'm thankful for my health and being more accepting of myself. For the ability to homeschool my children, for QSAROO, for hugs, smiles, and laughter. For friends lending support when the smiles and laughter are hard to come by.
I'm thankful for so much, many of the things you all have already so eloquently stated better than I can. But I take any opportunity to say how thankful I am for Mary. Lifted me out of a life of many vices and still keeps my world together. I'm thankful for the doctors at the Washington Hospital Center that keep catching her illness early and for the strength, courage, humor and grace my best girl continues to show no matter what happens.
Have a wonderful day, good people. Life really is beautiful.
All of the usual of course, friends and family, kids and a job, a roof over my head and a car that runs. Music in so many ways. My darling husband who understands and enables my music obsession. The folks of these boards, especially during the off season. The health of everyone I know and my own as well. Cancer is my bitch bitches!
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go on an overnight drunk, and in 10 days I'm going to set out to find the shark that ate my friend and destroy it. Anyone who wants to tag along is more than welcome.
