Yeah, thankfully we didn't have people dancing at their seats in DWT during Morton Subotnick... wait, that actually would have been interesting to see people try to dance to that. But yes, from what I can gather, very little in actual "dance" music gets put there.
Also, on seated venues, there are plenty of seats in the Civic Center, and the vast majority of TWA is seating (I thought it was all seating until recently), but for instance at Squarepusher in Thomas Wolfe, I didn't see any asses in seats, everyone was dancing in spot, or gyrating, whatever you want to call the alien movements most of us were making that evening. So, it worked fine there, at least for the boogying aspect.
Even though im not staying there I very well might be walking the street after leaving the thirsty monk yelling corn cat. If you hear this come say hi and we should have a drink and eat some corn.
You can certainly try the corncat call and if we hear it, we'll answer, but the best bet is to just keep your eyes open for the pandas! Others found us that way last year. Most of us pandafy ourselves and we got pretty famous around there.
