Woah, what a whirlwind of a weekend. Pretty much all of my pre planned activities went to shiz fairly quickly haha...including brunch, man I really wanted to attend that but the time period between when the shows ended on Friday night and when the sun came up on Saturday morning were some of the strangest hours of my life. I saw panda's every where though, whenever I had a chance I tried to come up and say hey to y'all. Bonzai, Mayo, and the folks that were posted up at at Deltron 3030/Purity Ring were super cool! Sorry if I don't remember exactly who I met, I think I associate y'all more with your avatars rather than your usernames. Next time whether it be moogfest or bonnaroo or what have you I'll actually stay in one place long enough to catch a show with the pandas.
Last night took the cake for me. I was 2-3 rows back and dead center for all of pretty lights. I pretty much lost my shiz when he remixed "Time Keeps on Slipping" by the steve miller band. That's one of my all time favorite songs and I was shocked when he played it. Best musical moment of the weekend for me.
Social media is a killer though dude! I have a feeling there's going to be some unsavory photo's of myself surfacing in the next few days. My baptist aunt doesn't need to see my rage face on facebook.
I also wish I knew the orb was going so late. I was hopping all around town looking for live music after 12:30 :\

After some reflection:
1.Pretty Lights 2.Animal Collective 3.Disclosure 4.Purity Ring 5.Deltron 3030
I caught the last 15 minutes of xxyyxx and instantly regretted splitting my friday night between NMH and Bassnectar. What a fun 15 mintues! Turns out him and Shlohmo are playing on halloween in the basement of a bar a few blocks from my house for $15! Best halloween on a budget ever.

VIP was a sucker bet if ever there was one. They did provide everything they said hey would but did just the minimum on all of it. I would say it s MAYBE worth $50 more than a GA ticket, maybe. Didn't let it ruin my weekend but if was a very poor showing. I won't bother with that next time.
Other things of note, VIP was a waste of the extra money. Did not save us any time or provide any significant improvements in view or anything of note really. All in all we will be back. Possibly for both moog and moems next year depending on lineup.
