Kenny Rogers was awesome last year (especially because Lionel Richie) but I would love to see some more great country acts on the farm. Who do we hope for and who do we hate?

I think Jason Aldean is too mainstream for Bonnaroo. I would love to see Steve Earle come. Although, it wouldn't shock me to see Bonnaroo try one of the bigger mainstream acts one of these years. I can see Zac Brown returning.

For the big name "legend" country act, George Jones and Dolly Parton are pretty much all that's left.
On a smaller scale, would love to see Prine back. Todd Snider and Hayes Carll are welcome any year they want to play. After seeing him at Americanafest (and knowing that AC is usually there scouting, although he didn't do a panel this year), I think there's a really good chance of us getting Corb Lund. He's the kind of artist on the rise that Bonnaroo likes to book for Thursdays. Another younger band who would be a great Thursday act is Honeyhoney. On the slightly bigger side, I could see Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit this year and Gillian Welch is due for a return. Buddy Miller and Jim Lauderdale's collaboration album is coming out soon and those guys are a hilarious pair in concert. The Mavericks are back together so that's a real possibility too.
I know Jimmy Buffett true country, but I'd love to see him return to the farm. I agree and would like to see Brantly Gilbert as a tent act. If I had to pick a modern more pop country I would go with Jake Owen i guess.

Hayes Carll for sure, he's always great to see. Dolly Parton would be amazing also, same spot as Kenny, and maybe Dolly will do a sit in with WSP like Kenny did with Phish this year!
Also, I'd like to see Miranda Lambert return and NOT be scheduled opposite a country act on What. (Seriously bad scheduling her opposite Zac Brown Band who, by the way, have played Bonnaroo three times already.)
If we get Zac Brown Band I really hope Blackberry Smoke comes with them. I saw them at their Brothers and Sisters Festival in Atlanta. They were amazing!

Blackberry Smoke is really good live, and really cool guys in person. I wouldn't mind them playing Thursday. I think Dierks Bentley Friday afternoon on Which would be perfect.
Turtles are, actually quite sexy, if you think about it. I’m getting an erection just thinking about turtles. No, not a stripper named turtles, that’s not funny. Actual turtles.

There is something about Carrie Ann Hearst's voice I love. If Shovels & Rope played somewhere on the farm early in the day I would try to check them out. Most likely, there would be something else going on I'd rather see.

From that video, they seem like they'd be a lot of fun!
Edit: And from the last hour of YouTubing I just bought their last two discs. Thanks for this!
